Oh girl!!! You are in a class above the rest!!! Your work is so clean and your structures are always on point! I seriously love watching your videos because I’m learning so much! Thank you so much for all the hard work and sharing your talent with the rest of us! I always get excited for “Nia Day”! So whenever you post a new video or if I need inspiration, I call it “a Nia Day”!! Hahaha! 😆😆💖💖
@Amy Ovard~ That’s so sweet & spot on! . ✨ I was going to say the exact thing myself! I’ve watched so many video’s on this topic. Nia is a natural. By that she’s a teacher and an artist. Most importantly it’s her patience. I have never seen anyone I don’t believe as good as her. So thank you Nia for sharing your talent, and thanks Amy for letting me share on your awesome post. ~J
Oh, Nia, I'm so glad you did a pinecone, I love it so much !! 🤩🎨🖌🌲🤩🥰 I loved bringing some back from my walks. I only have one left, but the most beautiful. 😉😀 Wonderful success !! 👌🤗🤩 Congratulations and thank you so much, Nianiani. 💕🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😊🌹❤🙋♀️🇨🇵🥰
Even though I’m an experienced artist, I sometimes find myself getting lost or intimidated when drawing pine cones! You made this so clear and accessible! I’m especially excited about doing this tutorial because I need to include conifer cones in some of the bird illustrations I’m doing for the book I’m working on. Thanks so much for your wonderful instruction and teaching! 💝
Thank you for your tutorial! I really enjoyed painting the pinecone. I've only been painting a few weeks, and just got my own paints and paper for Christmas.
I'm so glad you did a pinecone! I tried to paint one a few weeks ago and it was an epic fail. Yours looks WONDERFUL! You make composition look so easy too... I really love how you show the sketching in the beginning. It's very helpful. Keep making paintings for us!
I have never seen such a fantastic demo of howcto draw or paint a pinecone with such derainstructions. YOU ARE THE VERY BEST ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE. THANKBYOU SO MUCH AND I WILL BE FOLLOWING YOUR WORK FROM NOW ON,
Thank you!! I live in a ponderosa pine forest and spend all year picking up dang pine cones. You'd think that being up close and personal with them would make deconstructing one to paint an easy task. NOT! This is the tutorial I've been waiting for!!
Great video and I loved how you drew but mostly painted this pinecone. I have seen other artists paint them in watercolor, but they do not come nowhere near your painting. Well done!
P.S. My pine trees are three pong and very long. They are very tall, i.e., at least 30 feet tall and sway back and forth when the wind blows. At the top of these Pinetrees is where most of the pineneedles are. Looks like a bunch of broccoli trees. But they drop beautiful pinecone. I will have to try this. I enjoyed your teaching very much.
Thank you so much for your detailed tutorials. They are really good and thanks to you I get nice results. You are very talented and also your edit is great!
Wow Nia ! it's stunning. I loved the shades of the pinecone. Though it's not That much cold currently in Bangladesh but it brings winter feelings. I'm gonna try it for sure. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
This pine cone looks incredibly similar to the cones I am looking at on the red pines in my yard in northern Canada. You have captured their beauty perfectly. Such amazing talent!!
Thank you for another wonderfully accessible video. Your practice sketches are always so helpful to understand shape and approach. I tried a pinecone from one I saw while walking. It was so challenging. A friend led me to your tutorial for help. Now I'll try again.
This actually makes sense. Ive never been able to figure out how to paint pine cones precisely. You nailed it, and made it easy to understand, still labor intense!! Beautiful!!!❤️
This painting is stunning! Might be simple for you, but is an approachable idea for those of us that are still learning! Thanks you so much for sharing your talent’
