It’s kinda clear Bill was constantly talking about the third dimension and got bullied a lot for it. So it’s possible in a fit of rage and wanting to prove he’s not speaking nonsense he tried to show the bullies, he tried to show everyone. Unfortunately this act led to him accidentally destroying his home and he was powerless to undo the damage he caused.

But where Ford realised the error of his ways and managed to reconcile with his family, Bill went too far and lost his family.
The fact that talking about the 3rd dimension is banned in Euclydia makes me think that bill isn’t the first to have this mutation- maybe people were killed for it before or had to live a life pretending it wasn’t real
Like how we can talk about the 4th dimension but don’t understand it, maybe the scientists in their dimension found out about it but can’t perceive it just like us, and they banned it because everybody else thought it was all bogus and they were getting killed/bullied/made fun for it.

I think the reason why the events get jumbled is due to his guilt. The only way he can talk about it is if it was someone else. Otherwise he gets PTSD and blacks out. He's literally an out of body experience. Somehow he's a complete monster and still sad.
Your mentioning of Eucidians having powers based on their colors sounds interesting. Imagine if there was this whole love story with Scalene and Euclid before Bill's birth where, if red and blue shapes get together, their children came out "wrong" by Euclidian standards. All children of red and blue shapes talk about seeing "up," a direction that's impossible from their 2D perspective. This could be the case as revealed in the codes on the Silly Straws page in the Book of Bill, the Euclidian's had medicine to "make the visions go away" with a sentence from Scalene saying "Billy won't drink unless they (the straws) are silly." Bill could see the third dimension, and his people had medicine to make other kids like him blind to it. Unlike the other kids who took their medicine and were "fixed", Bill decided to show them what they were drugging themselves into blindness.
I think he essentially lifted the "veil" to the third dimension and it ripped everyone else's skin off. Like, imagine being in a flat world smooshed between 2 infinite glass planes; Bill was aware of everything outside of the glass, but no one else was. So he takes off the top layer of glass, but it was keeping everyone else together. He did mention there being a lot of blood. This is a pretty horrific interpretation, and it has almost no basis and maybe doesn't even make sense, but that's sort of what I imagine happened.
Nah that definitely makes sense and its a fantastic interpretation. Since the "glass" in this case is the fabric of reality itself, you cant just lift it up without ripping open everything contained in it. I can picture it in my mind and it is indeed horrific.
havent watched the video yet, but my theory is that he tried to show them the direction up, by tilting euclidia, but accidentally ripped it like a piece of paper, sucking everyone besides bill onto the edge of the universe
maybe instead of ripping it, everyone in euclidia fell off the edge when it tilted. the 3d equivalent would probably be creating a black hole with an infinite event horizon
I imagine as a mutant, Bill was granted near godlike powers. His people had powers, yes, but Bill was one of a kind which explains his longevity as well.
An alternate theory is that in his endeavor to show his people the Third Dimension, he accidentally caused their near extinction, not realizing just how powerful he is. Due to the guilt of having annihilated his dimension, he developed a kind of personality disorder that made him act how he does, kind of a trauma response, which is why if his home dimension is mentioned, he goes blank for a bit. His mind is trying to block out his trauma, but that in turn causes him to become psychotic.
The one thing Baby Bill talks about is the stars and how he wants his parents to see them. The message claims that the sky is on fire. What if instead of purposeful arson, he did something to the whole dimension's orientation, whether that be tilting it up, or sideways, or just closer to the stars in general, and the euclidean people just couldn't handle it
This really says a lot about Bill's character. He pretends to be happy but in truth, he suffers from a severe inferiority complex. The fact that he has a bit of guilt about his actions shows a different side to him.

Bill IS irredeemable, less because he's just that fucking awful, and more because he refuses to change, to take responsibility for all his horrible, selfish actions, including the destruction of his home. Also I just remember Alex hirsh describing Bill as someone who refuses to grow up in one of the signings for TBOB, and yeah, I think that description fits.
fun fact, when bill mentions time baby being frozen in a glacier, it's actually a callback to the scene in season 1 when dipper and mabel uncover the northwest coverup documents. If you pause and read through the page, it's actually mentioned that the government found time baby frozen in a glacier.
Oooo! I love this!! I'd add to your theory in just one way, however! It seems that whenever Bill gets stressed/upset he completely dissociates and blacks out. And I'm not just talking about how he blacks out when remembering his dimension dying, though that to! However there's one line I don't see very many people bring up. "I dissociated, woke up, and realized I'd conquered another dynasty! Score!" The way he's so casual when he mentions blacking out for presumably weeks at the very least, but possibly months, makes me think this happens often. Possibly anytime he gets too overwhelmed? As we know Bill can't handle any emotions that aren't "Happy." It makes me wonder if perhaps he couldn't handle the stress of people dying, blacked out, or at least dissociated, and that's when he began consuming them all? Also yes, I don't think he blacks out when he's angry, because I do believe Bill enjoys the feeling of anger. It gives him a sense of control over other people that he enjoys. But it seems any other negative emotion triggers quite the powerful response. See how Bill dissociates when he remembers the memories of his dimension being destroyed, likely because it's to painful for him to take. So I think it was the feeling of stress/fear/hurt of seeing all the people he loved be destroyed that made him black out, and likely do something more heinous. Does that make sense?
If just like to point this out: Bill has, on several occasions, been described as “eating souls” or similar things(I don’t have the book but I think it should be on the skin page). On top of Bills words of “You should’ve eaten [Stanley] in the womb. Think of how powerful you’d be.” I believe that Bill gained his power by consuming the billions if not trillions of souls from the countless dimensions he has slaughtered:)

I imagine the “confrontation” with his parents was similar to what happened in Brightburn. Bill’s father would see that his son was a monster and try to eliminate him head on with his own abilities, only to be completely overwhelmed by Bill’s cosmic level powers plus the added anger of being “betrayed” by his own father. His mother would try to calm him down, most likely with the same lullaby she used to sing to him as a kid, and it would work at first only for Bill to go back into bloodlust mode after perceiving that his mother is going to hurt him like his father tried to (real or otherwise) and after that he snaps completely and just kills everyone and destroys everything before he comes back to his senses.
I had a thought, what if Bill wanted to show his people what they couldn’t see? Thinking he was doing the right thing and thinking he was helping them to evolve into something like himself. By turning them over physically, so they could see other dimensions. thinking he was doing something good. But in so, killing them in the process. I don’t think that bill was actually threatening to eat ford, since it said he was distant, I think it was more, for lack of a better term, regretting what he did, and that no matter who was there he would have killed them even if it was someone like sixer, bill knew he wouldn’t have held back
That reminds me, in Journal #3, Ford notes that during his interdimensional travels, he encountered a similar two-dimensional dimension called Exwhylia (probably named after the X-Y axises), which he almost confused for Bill's destroyed dimension. This travel also resulted in Ford meeting the Oracle (Jheselbraum the Unswerving), after she rescued him while the Exwhylians attacked Ford for being an irregular shape.
I don’t see many people mentioning this but in the short Mabel’s Guide to Colors, Grenda says she can see rainbows when she drinks expired milk. Maybe if she did that and looked through a kaleidoscope, she could’ve perceived Euclydia had it not been destroyed by Bill…
Given the journal's description of the destruction of a parallel earth dimension when two Fiddlefords touched each other, plus the description of Exwhylia, which sounds eerily similar to Euclydia, my theory is that the two are parallel dimensions and Euclydia Bill's plan involved inviting his parallel self from Exwhylia (which he could see because he had the third dimension view) to Euclydia. But the plan went awry when the two Bills touched each other. Euclydia Bill managed to escape, but the rest of the dimension, possibly including Exwhylia Bill, wasn't so lucky. The rest of Exwhylia was probably just glad to be rid of their madman who had the eye in the wrong place and kept talking about an extra dimension.
New found fan theory- Euclid somehow survived bills massacre while tricking bill into thinking he killed him, got to the third dimension and eventually earth. Possessed or changed his form to a human. And now became the same Euclid that invented Euclidean geometry in the gravity falls world. This theory isn’t important but I thought about it and since gravity falls has conspiracies which are true in their universe, I don’t find this to be the biggest stretch. Just a fun but dumb theory 😅
I love that we're getting all this lore content, even YEARS after the series ended but godddd I would love to see the whole of this story told in full animation. It could easily have 5 more seasons and people would fuckin love it. Never losing hope that it could maybe be picked up as an adult cartoon (cuz lets be honest, this show wanted to be an adult cartoon so bad), set years later relative to real life time, with dipper and mable being in their 20s now. They're older, and the audience is older, so now we can all handle some even heavier stuff.

Wouldn’t bill’s eye being in the center of his body make him blind to the 2D world around him? The eye wouldn’t be able to see through his body or turn to look at the thin 1D slice (like how our eyes see a 2D picture of the world that our brain add depth to) around him. If that’s the case 3D would be the only thing he could see.
well when we see bill in the dreamscape he has a little depth and a even some in his eye. Another way he could've killed his dimension is because when he was born he had depth to him but the others didnt so when he tried to lift them up, their organs fell out which resulted in the blood and after that he might've set everything on fire out of anger.

Someone else made a theory that makes the majority of Bill make sense. Here's the gist of it: Bill states in the book that there are two things that make up the multiverse: Physical atoms and fictional stories. Physical atoms exist in the real world and fiction exists in the mindscape. The nightmare realm is the place between dimensions and has very few laws of nature. Fiction can only exist in the mindscape and the nightmare realm unless a portal connects the nightmare realm to another dimension, thus creating weirdmaggedon. Bill is fiction because he made himself an unforgettable story, that is why he is almost immortal and extremely powerful only in dreams. However, he was not fiction yet when he destroyed his home world, thus not having any of the powers. He likely tried a ritual which ultimately failed, potentially destroying his whole dimension, maybe channeling the energy of his whole dimension into him. He was presumably killed but survived as fiction, entering the nightmare realm since his dimension was destroyed (there isn't enough information currently to confirm or deny this). Thus his dream powers and his entrance to the nightmare realm from which he would use dreams to manipulate people into building portals.
since the book came out I've been finding and watching fanmade animatics of Bill non-stop, mostly made up of music videos, AMVs etc that relate to Bill's trauma and backstory (hence the playlist name "Bill Angst") but some of them are just funny like the one where he and the henchmaniacs argue about that movie "the Godfather"

7:14 I think something else may have actually killed Bill's folks. Remember when "mandibles" were mentioned when Bill was talking about what happened that day? As we all obviously know, mandibles are a part of the jaw and teeth, like Spiders have. So, I think one or two things happened: During the whole thing, Bill could've turned into his demonic form and brutally slaughtered everyone as a twisted form of mercy like you theorized, or perhaps when he was trying to show the 3rd dimension to all of Euclydia, he opened a portal that accidentally unleashed a monstrous entity that proceeded to brutally devour everything and everyone in the area, while Bill could only watch in horror as his parents and everyone he knew were gone, until he regained his focus when he was the only one left, and either killed the beast or banished it back to the dimension it came from. Regardless, the damage was of course done, and Bill was left scared by the whole ordeal......
The mandibles thing makes me immediately think of that one dog that appears in the Book of Bill who's in the theraprism. Idk what it's called but it's a massive yellow dog that appeared in an episode of the series when Mabel ate some weird LSD fundip. EYYYYYY Same!! That’s actually a really good theory! Yeah, it would explain why Bill is able to do all these things like breaking the laws of Reality and warping into other people’s minds. His reality-bending was probably some kind of trait he acquired through his contact with the Nightmare Realm after he discovered it for the very first time. My theory is that Bill somehow found a way to access the Mindscape, either by meditating or through some unknown awakening of psychic powers, (or maybe he just studied on astral projection and found out how to do it) regardless Bill found a way to master Astral Projection and was able to access the Mindscape through this way, my theory is that after the whole showing his people the 3rd Dimension thing went haywire, Bill seeing that his whole dimension was burning, decided that the only way to save himself would be to Astrally Project his soul into the Mindscape in order to survive, but in the process he lost his original 2D physical body and basically became the equivalent of a ghost forced to float around his empty Universe after it had burned away, until he learned the trick to moving through dimensions across the Multiverse using the Mindscape as a Medium, sort of like a bridge to access normal reality if you will. It was his travels across the Multiverse, and his unique state of being a Disembodied Spirit that could float in-between dimensions through the Mindscape that allowed Bill to discover the Nightmare Realm for the very first time. An anamlous, Spatio-Temporal Distortion sizzling in-between Dimensions that only Bill could have found because only HE could travel between dimensions due to his specter-like Status.
I dont think Bill on purposely killed any of his home dimension. But i think as the one to try and show off the 3rd dimension and the only one who could see it, lead him to be the only one able to survive

I feel as if he got his powers from being an error, he wasn’t supposed to perceive or enter the 3rd dimension yet he did causing him to be a glitch which means he can ignore most rules (picture it like when you find out your in the matrix)
I think bill had a father who left(maybe from the mutation),and his mom who loved him dearly, but by each day his sight of the stars got clearer and clearer soon he could even hop out and explore a bit, but no one knew what he was talking about... He had enough he wanted to show them... He NEEDED to show them, all he had to do was tilt the universe just a bit... Everything was on fire... He couldn't process it but then he saw his mom. The one person who cared and loved him... He tried to save her but by the time he grabbed her... Only an atom was left.
Ok, so Euclidia has no up or down, right? So how did they know that the sky was burning? How did they know the sky was even a thing? Personal head cannon: I think Euclydia is like layers of animation. They can see what eachother look like because they can pass above and below eachother. If bills eye was on his face and not side then how would they know he have an eye? So I think that's why it's like on layers, but they are u aware of the depth part, only side to side I guess up and down would work because X and Y but no Z
About Bill lying about the destruction of his home dimension: maybe he isn't technically lying per se. When we experience really traumatic experiences like, for example, murdering every single living thing in your home dimension, the brain puts up mental barricades so we don't stop functioning. This can also lead to false memories and a lot of the times: black outs, where we don't remember anything. Basically what I'm saying is: Bill has severe PTSD (not an expert, I just had a hyperfixation on PTSD and DID for a while)
This kind of reminds me of the DC anti-hero Lobo he did the exact some thing to his home world but he wanted to do it just so he could be the last of his kind to make him feel special or something. I don’t remember
My Theory: Bill simply stood up. He could see up like no one else. He realized his limbs could push him in the up direction. Something no one else before him could have tried. His point head pressed against the surface of their world and tore a rip into the fabric of their reality. As he stood, and turned to see his world, all he saw was fire and blood as the euclidians floated out into space thru the tear.

And they both developed this complex where they went "It's not because I'm a freak, I'm just BETTER than everyone else! No one else can understand me! They're just holding me back! One day I'll prove my genius, and everyone will realise they were wrong!"
That was how Bill manipulated Ford into building the portal. But where Ford realised the error of his ways and managed to reconcile with his family, Bill went too far and lost his family.

The fact that talking about the 3rd dimension is banned in Euclydia makes me think that bill isn’t the first to have this mutation- maybe people were killed for it before or had to live a life pretending it wasn’t real
Like how we can talk about the 4th dimension but don’t understand it, maybe the scientists in their dimension found out about it but can’t perceive it just like us, and they banned it because everybody else thought it was all bogus and they were getting killed/bullied/made fun for it.

Imagine if there was this whole love story with Scalene and Euclid before Bill's birth where, if red and blue shapes get together, their children came out "wrong" by Euclidian standards. All children of red and blue shapes talk about seeing "up," a direction that's impossible from their 2D perspective. This could be the case as revealed in the codes on the Silly Straws page in the Book of Bill, the Euclidian's had medicine to "make the visions go away" with a sentence from Scalene saying "Billy won't drink unless they (the straws) are silly." Bill could see the third dimension, and his people had medicine to make other kids like him blind to it. Unlike the other kids who took their medicine and were "fixed", Bill decided to show them what they were drugging themselves into blindness.
How is he even supposed to drink them in the first place?
That's a scary parallel to real life with how many people historically (and even today) are drugged into submission and agreeableness.

I think he essentially lifted the "veil" to the third dimension and it ripped everyone else's skin off. Like, imagine being in a flat world smooshed between 2 infinite glass planes; Bill was aware of everything outside of the glass, but no one else was. So he takes off the top layer of glass, but it was keeping everyone else together. He did mention there being a lot of blood.
This is a pretty horrific interpretation, and it has almost no basis and maybe doesn't even make sense, but that's sort of what I imagine happened.

Nah that definitely makes sense and its a fantastic interpretation. Since the "glass" in this case is the fabric of reality itself, you cant just lift it up without ripping open everything contained in it. I can picture it in my mind and it is indeed horrific.

I imagine as a mutant, Bill was granted near godlike powers. His people had powers, yes, but Bill was one of a kind which explains his longevity as well.
Bill stated in Wierdmageddon, that he can't die, because he is a fundamental Idea. Probably Chaos or Mind.
An alternate theory is that in his endeavor to show his people the Third Dimension, he accidentally caused their near extinction, not realizing just how powerful he is. Due to the guilt of having annihilated his dimension, he developed a kind of personality disorder that made him act how he does, kind of a trauma response, which is why if his home dimension is mentioned, he goes blank for a bit. His mind is trying to block out his trauma, but that in turn causes him to become psychotic.
The one thing Baby Bill talks about is the stars and how he wants his parents to see them. The message claims that the sky is on fire. What if instead of purposeful arson, he did something to the whole dimension's orientation, whether that be tilting it up, or sideways, or just closer to the stars in general, and the euclidean people just couldn't handle it
This really says a lot about Bill's character. He pretends to be happy but in truth, he suffers from a severe inferiority complex. The fact that he has a bit of guilt about his actions shows a different side to him.

Bill IS irredeemable, less because he's just that fucking awful, and more because he refuses to change, to take responsibility for all his horrible, selfish actions, including the destruction of his home. Also I just remember Alex hirsh describing Bill as someone who refuses to grow up in one of the signings for TBOB, and yeah, I think that description fits.

See how Bill dissociates when he remembers the memories of his dimension being destroyed, likely because it's to painful for him to take.
So I think it was the feeling of stress/fear/hurt of seeing all the people he loved be destroyed that made him black out, and likely do something more heinous.

If just like to point this out: Bill has, on several occasions, been described as “eating souls” or similar things(I don’t have the book but I think it should be on the skin page). On top of Bills words of “You should’ve eaten [Stanley] in the womb. Think of how powerful you’d be.” I believe that Bill gained his power by consuming the billions if not trillions of souls from the countless dimensions he has slaughtered:)

I imagine the “confrontation” with his parents was similar to what happened in Brightburn.
Bill’s father would see that his son was a monster and try to eliminate him head on with his own abilities, only to be completely overwhelmed by Bill’s cosmic level powers plus the added anger of being “betrayed” by his own father.
His mother would try to calm him down, most likely with the same lullaby she used to sing to him as a kid, and it would work at first only for Bill to go back into bloodlust mode after perceiving that his mother is going to hurt him like his father tried to (real or otherwise) and after that he snaps completely and just kills everyone and destroys everything before he comes back to his senses.

That reminds me, in Journal #3, Ford notes that during his interdimensional travels, he encountered a similar two-dimensional dimension called Exwhylia (probably named after the X-Y axises), which he almost confused for Bill's destroyed dimension. This travel also resulted in Ford meeting the Oracle (Jheselbraum the Unswerving), after she rescued him while the Exwhylians attacked Ford for being an irregular shape.

I don’t see many people mentioning this but in the short Mabel’s Guide to Colors, Grenda says she can see rainbows when she drinks expired milk. Maybe if she did that and looked through a kaleidoscope, she could’ve perceived Euclydia had it not been destroyed by Bill…
Given the journal's description of the destruction of a parallel earth dimension when two Fiddlefords touched each other, plus the description of Exwhylia, which sounds eerily similar to Euclydia, my theory is that the two are parallel dimensions and Euclydia Bill's plan involved inviting his parallel self from Exwhylia (which he could see because he had the third dimension view) to Euclydia. But the plan went awry when the two Bills touched each other. Euclydia Bill managed to escape, but the rest of the dimension, possibly including Exwhylia Bill, wasn't so lucky. The rest of Exwhylia was probably just glad to be rid of their madman who had the eye in the wrong place and kept talking about an extra dimension.
New found fan theory- Euclid somehow survived bills massacre while tricking bill into thinking he killed him, got to the third dimension and eventually earth. Possessed or changed his form to a human. And now became the same Euclid that invented Euclidean geometry in the gravity falls world. This theory isn’t important but I thought about it and since gravity falls has conspiracies which are true in their universe, I don’t find this to be the biggest stretch. Just a fun but dumb theory 😅

I love that we're getting all this lore content, even YEARS after the series ended but godddd I would love to see the whole of this story told in full animation. It could easily have 5 more seasons and people would fuckin love it. Never losing hope that it could maybe be picked up as an adult cartoon (cuz lets be honest, this show wanted to be an adult cartoon so bad), set years later relative to real life time, with dipper and mable being in their 20s now. They're older, and the audience is older, so now we can all handle some even heavier stuff.

Wouldn’t bill’s eye being in the center of his body make him blind to the 2D world around him? The eye wouldn’t be able to see through his body or turn to look at the thin 1D slice (like how our eyes see a 2D picture of the world that our brain add depth to) around him. If that’s the case 3D would be the only thing he could see.
well when we see bill in the dreamscape he has a little depth and a even some in his eye. Another way he could've killed his dimension is because when he was born he had depth to him but the others didnt so when he tried to lift them up, their organs fell out which resulted in the blood and after that he might've set everything on fire out of anger.

Someone else made a theory that makes the majority of Bill make sense. Here's the gist of it:
Bill states in the book that there are two things that make up the multiverse: Physical atoms and fictional stories. Physical atoms exist in the real world and fiction exists in the mindscape. The nightmare realm is the place between dimensions and has very few laws of nature. Fiction can only exist in the mindscape and the nightmare realm unless a portal connects the nightmare realm to another dimension, thus creating weirdmaggedon.
Bill is fiction because he made himself an unforgettable story, that is why he is almost immortal and extremely powerful only in dreams. However, he was not fiction yet when he destroyed his home world, thus not having any of the powers. He likely tried a ritual which ultimately failed, potentially destroying his whole dimension, maybe channeling the energy of his whole dimension into him. He was presumably killed but survived as fiction, entering the nightmare realm since his dimension was destroyed (there isn't enough information currently to confirm or deny this). Thus his dream powers and his entrance to the nightmare realm from which he would use dreams to manipulate people into building portals.
since the book came out I've been finding and watching fanmade animatics of Bill non-stop,

Bill Cipher was like Superman, otherwise his people should be preparated to contrarest a calamity a magic or 'different' baby could cause. Yes, you have some interesting points that are in fact true. The only 'defect' Bill had, his irregularity was his 3D eye, cappable to see in 3D and many other dimentions. 7:14 I think something else may have actually killed Bill's folks. Remember when "mandibles" were mentioned when Bill was talking about what happened that day? As we all obviously know, mandibles are a part of the jaw and teeth, like Spiders have. So, I think one or two things happened: During the whole thing, Bill could've turned into his demonic form and brutally slaughtered everyone as a twisted form of mercy like you theorized, or perhaps when he was trying to show the 3rd dimension to all of Euclydia, he opened a portal that accidentally unleashed a monstrous entity that proceeded to brutally devour everything and everyone in the area, while Bill could only watch in horror as his parents and everyone he knew were gone, until he regained his focus when he was the only one left, and either killed the beast or banished it back to the dimension it came from. Regardless, the damage was of course done, and Bill was left scared by the whole ordeal......
The mandibles thing makes me immediately think of that one dog that appears in the Book of Bill who's in the theraprism.

Yeah, it would explain why Bill is able to do all these things like breaking the laws of Reality and warping into other people’s minds. His reality-bending was probably some kind of trait he acquired through his contact with the Nightmare Realm after he discovered it for the very first time.
My theory is that Bill somehow found a way to access the Mindscape, either by meditating or through some unknown awakening of psychic powers, (or maybe he just studied on astral projection and found out how to do it) regardless Bill found a way to master Astral Projection and was able to access the Mindscape through this way, my theory is that after the whole showing his people the 3rd Dimension thing went haywire, Bill seeing that his whole dimension was burning, decided that the only way to save himself would be to Astrally Project his soul into the Mindscape in order to survive, but in the process he lost his original 2D physical body and basically became the equivalent of a ghost forced to float around his empty Universe after it had burned away, until he learned the trick to moving through dimensions across the Multiverse using the Mindscape as a Medium, sort of like a bridge to access normal reality if you will.
It was his travels across the Multiverse, and his unique state of being a Disembodied Spirit that could float in-between dimensions through the Mindscape that allowed Bill to discover the Nightmare Realm for the very first time.
An anamlous, Spatio-Temporal Distortion sizzling in-between Dimensions that only Bill could have found because only HE could travel between dimensions due to his specter-like Status.

I think Euclydia is like layers of animation.
They can see what eachother look like because they can pass above and below eachother.
If bills eye was on his face and not side then how would they know he have an eye?
So I think that's why it's like on layers, but they are u aware of the depth part, only side to side

About Bill lying about the destruction of his home dimension: maybe he isn't technically lying per se. When we experience really traumatic experiences like, for example, murdering every single living thing in your home dimension, the brain puts up mental barricades so we don't stop functioning. This can also lead to false memories and a lot of the times: black outs, where we don't remember anything. Basically what I'm saying is: Bill has severe PTSD (not an expert, I just had a hyperfixation on PTSD and DID for a while)

My Theory:
Bill simply stood up. He could see up like no one else. He realized his limbs could push him in the up direction. Something no one else before him could have tried. His point head pressed against the surface of their world and tore a rip into the fabric of their reality. As he stood, and turned to see his world, all he saw was fire and blood as the euclidians floated out into space thru the tear.

i have reasons to believe that the Euclidean Massacre may have involved "The Beast", it is the only one to be on par with bill (the second one to be on "max security rec") like a super version of Fenrir (expect Fenrir died during the events of Ragnarok, maybe TB is just wondering around from galaxies,and other dimension) maybe young bill tried to make contact with TB (calling it that for now) as a way to prove he wasn't crazy (and the reason why he choose TB is bcuz let's be honest on first glanced y'all would have assumed TB to be friendly too) but TB went overboard and tried to eat bill's whole dimension! so bill stopped him with fire (maybe from a concentrated prism beam yes random but it's a fan theory) TB fled but soon bill's dimension would soon be engulfed in flames (from the prism beam) and in the end all bill could do is watch as his whole dimension burns because of him
but that's a fan-theory for ya! what do y'all think of it?

This is so far the best theory I have come across and all of it actually makes sense since TB is canonically way more powerful than Bill as stated by the Axolotl. The cause of the arson also makes the most sense because of him regretting it right after. Great thinking 👍

Yes, we see Bill trying to blank out what happened and not think about it. But it still doesn’t absolve him of destroying other dimensions or spending 10,000 years being juat the worst.
he did it on purpose, in the way that he purposefully attempted to show everyone the 3rd dimension. he just accidentally killed everyone
