How to Clean your 125cc Pit Bike Carburetor

A short video on how to clean out your clogged up carburetor and make it squeaky clean. If your 125cc ssr pit bike,dirt bike won't start it might be the carb so hope this video helps you out.
UPDATE: You could spray some oil on the air filter, put some grease on the outside edge at the air intake connection of the carb with the filter, and you can use plastic bottle parts to cover the air filter so dirt and mud won`t mess it up too bad, and this way you won`t get that much water on the air filter when you wash the bike. You should cover it so that air can flow good too.

Oil for the pit bike, any good brand semi synthetic 4 stroke oil is good. Careful not to put too much or not enough. You change it often, every 500 km or so.

Air filter doesn't require oil, you just clean it. The chinese pit bike does have an oil filter, although I don't see people changing it they just clean it.

It is a standard 125cc chinese common chinese carburetor, very simple and straightforward. It doesn't have many rubber parts like the special membrane on the butterfly ones found in 49cc scooters.

Why does my carb no have screws like that???? I cant get the bottom part off because the screws have no way of unscrewing?!

Albert Enlund well it depends on how dirty is the carb, you can use many cleaning solutions, but I clean it regularly so beeing not that dirty I just wash everything with water, blow with air and absorb with paper towels
