Thats a flangeless carb for anybody wondering. Nibbi makes carbs with flanges so you don't need to worry about attach any extra pieces.
dont know if i saw correct but looks like there is only 1 hose clamp when there should be two.
The off set of the angel is to allow the carb to make good clearance and keep the carb level ...it wasn't defective
Makes more sense
Wooow guy..
It's not defective. Bolt the intake flange on first onto the intake, the shimmy the rubber coupler onto it...then tighten the hose clamps. Don't cut into the rubber coupler.
I thought about this as well, but the rubber hose would not have enough reach onto the coupler. Theirs like slits on the coupler and hose and the hose was too think, that the bolts wouldn’t even make it through. I didn’t want to cut it to begin with but was the only way I found the make easier work rather then drilling a new hole. Drilling a new hole would mean I would have to make a gasket and I didn’t have any gasket material around.
You got alot of carbs 💯Shid Lemme have one😂😂
Hehe, it’s slowing turning into a collection
Same problem. The hose is too fat to get the screws through. Even if it did, it adds too much length. And the back side is too big for the air filter hose. It's a pain. The nibbi with the flares added already is better but I didn't know this. Trying to figure it out without shredding everything to get it on.
First comment gang🔥
Would a vm22 26m card work good for the Apollo 125 x 18
I believe so, anything better then the china carb will make this bike feel night and day day different
What kind of gas do you run?
Mid grade with marvel in winter, low grade in summer
can you post a link for the adapter or shoot me a part number please
I ended up modifying the adapter with a radiator hose and some thicker/stronger clamps, but here’s the link to the adapter, NIBBI Replacement Orginal High Performance CG Intake Manifold Air Joint Boot Connector For Motorcycle Motorcross Dirt Bike CG www.amazon.com/dp/B07KR27M2N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WEVG9HQX1VWYPYC48SVW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I order a nibbi 24mm carburetor for my 125cc Apollo blazer ATV I not sure it the right size for it
24mm should work. May need to change jet sizes if needed. I ordered a 26mm which is rated for 150cc, I had to go down a jet size and had to modify the carb hose to fit the bike better
Get the 22mm carb bigger doesn’t mean better
Yo I have a Tao Tao db 140cc wth this carb and the carb keep slipping off can u help me 😞
Tighten those hose clamps, or look for a better gripping style
Hello can you do a video for me because I have a light and I don’t know how to put it
I had to use radiator hose to fit mine on. And had very tight exhaust pipe to stiffen the hose to help with the bumps and vibrations
Did it improve the bikes performance
Yes, throttle response was a lot snappier and honestly sounded awoke. The stock carb definitely was holding back some but not a lot.
@@KrisspyMk4 sound cheers
Yeah sorry for the late reply, small channel so I don’t get back alot of feed back, and TH-cam for some reason doesn’t gives me notifications. So I check every weekend to make sure I’m not leaving anyone hanging
Do i need adapters for this bike?
Yes and no, should have been a bolt on kit. But had to make some changes due to it being a little different then your typical SSR china bike. I also am not a fan of something unsupported. So adding the thicker coolant hose and adding a metal pipe to stiffen the fabricated boot for the filter was necessary for my taste. Could have done a way better set up, but just wanted to see how much of difference upgrading the carb did to the bike.
WHAT SIZE IS THAT THE 26MM , 28 OR 36?
26mm
@@KrisspyMk4 did u change engion carburator bend also or ur bend alredy for 26mm
Does 26mm work well on 125cc?
I would assume you would need to swap out the jest to make it work.
Do you have a jet size recommendations
For the manifold header, I figured out you have to use flat-faced screws and install them from the carb-side out to get the nuts on, otherwise that NIBBI manifold is useless.
The other thing you can do is saw-off the end of your stock manifold & just clamp on the NIBBI rubber boot.
What carb should I use to mod a 150 cc viper
Depends, what’s stock jet size, and what carbs supports those jet sizes. A lot goes into what carb you need, but alot of the times, the china knock off makuni carbs works fantastic for what you pay for.
@@KrisspyMk4 I jus wanna have my Chinese bike to ride faster I feel like the fastest it goes rn is 35-40 mph but I’m tryna find a mod to make it go 70-80 mph I know it has potential it’s a 2016 viper 150
Properly tune the carb, you might be able to go bigger jets sizes. Also check air flow, the more air you can suck in, the more fuel and thus more power. Also check heat ratings, you might find having a slightly colder spark plug does better with a higher octane fuel. Do your research, I shouldn’t be the only reference on info
@@odenthebankai358 fastest I’ve gone on my x18 125cc is 68mph
How much this carb?
64$
Those suck
What do you recommend then
Anything better then the stock carb, a knock off carb that serviceable will be night and day difference if done properly
