- Together with my friend Wainer, we took advantage of the last cross-country days of the year for a relaxed weekend bivouac. Given the anticyclonic and gentle conditions, we set out from Chamonix without any specific expectations or goals, simply aiming to have fun.
Music:
Sublime - What I got
Bukahara - Afraid no more
Sugar Ray - Fly
Thumbs up because you played sublime right off the bat:-) Nice flying my friend
Thank you for your fabulous video. Gives us hope that one day will be As good as you.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Really enjoyed that, especially as I've flown lots of times in that area on my volbiv trips (check out my Gumball videos). It's so beautiful up at Sambuy...!
Great video thanks for sharing
belle aventure dans des conditions pas si simple, bravo et merci pour le partage !
Piękna wyprawa 😊

Salut Pierre, merci ! A bientôt !

Should have way more views, what a great adventure. I plan on something similar in Austria in April or May, as soon as possible 😅👍🏻🪂 happy landings
Hello! Thanks a lot for a kind comment and please share if you liked! ;-)
I wish you a good conditions during your adventure!
🤩
A very tidy trip, and nicely put together video - bravo! A few of us started a vol-biv from Chamrousse in July and again in August - heading North (it was super windy, both times). We were advised to avoide the East faces of the Belledone - are the (morning?) inversions typically a problem from Chamrousse, or were you just unlucky / too late in the season?
Thanks for your comment! Those valleys have extremely strong breezes (even during the stable days), and during our biv due to conditions, the inversion stoped us from climbing high and be protected from those breezes.
Generally, if you fly from Chamrousse it's better to take off in the afternoon and take an easy way on the NO faces, you can go really far this way :-)
and indeed, that is what we did, but there was a lot of ducking and diving, quite low down, to avoid the strong winds at height.
Excellent 👍
Do you mind me asking how you produced your animated maps? They’re very nicely done…
Hi Tim, I am using only basic and free softwares: iMovie for editing and Keynote for all animations and maps. I like this mix because is very simple and still you got a lot of possibilities ;-)
@@KarolScibor Thanks, I use iMovie for my vids but hadn't thought of Keynote for animations - I'll have a look...
Fantastic trip and mega views 😃 I would like to do something like this next season with my chili 5 🪂 ❤
