Fantastic video. I’ve done an overnight vol biv there and recognised some of the places. I LOVE the dolomites. I really enjoyed your honesty in the ups and downs of vol biv. I completely agree the packing and repacking of everything in the right spot is tiring! Please keep posting y our vol biv adventures. ENJOY it and get out as much as possible.
14:34 This is what they don't tell you about paragliding. And as you said, in VolBiv it's another level. Packing and unpacking. Organising gear. It never ends.
I enjoyed that, thanks for making the film. I bet you were glad to land ten minutes before the hail hit!! I love volbiv flying too (see the playlists in my channel) - the great thing is that you don't need to fly big distances to have an awesome time... I've not flown in the Dolomites yet, but I'd love to do a volbiv trip there sometime... When were you there? September?
Thanks, Tim, I highly appreciate that you liked it! Also,I'm great fan of your videos! :) And you should definitely do a volbiv trip to the Dolomites, it is really wonderful and completely different from the other parts of the Alps. That is why maybe September-October, or at least late summer/ autumn is the best period to fly there. I also flew there in the middle of September.
Wow! The 2021 Oscar in VolBiv category goes for you! :) Wonderful location, flights and trip. You kept your filming/documenting style at a very high level, and even took a drone to a solo VolBiv trip, when every single extra gramm counts!? Respect!
Thanks, Pigi, appreciate it, especially from you, i mean it! :) As a matter of fact, the drone is always an important participant of the volbiv trips. :)
Hi Chad! Thanks for your comment, appreciate it :) Btw one of my big dreams is to camp and fly in the alaskaian wilderness, must be awesome! Maybe once. ;)
@@MrOjmjakon nice, thx a lot. Looking forward to summer already. :) I did a little bivouac trip last year and I figured that a light tent would be nice. If you're interested, check out my biwakfliegen video (but sorry it's in German). Happy landings to you!
Quick note, I think your music was 2x the level of your voice, and I had to lower the volume on every music haha. It would have been better to have the music audio level matched with your voice!
@@MrOjmjakon Thanks, I have been flying there many times in September (while the cable cars were still going), but always very crowded. You probably went there after cable-car summer season I guess.
I'm sorry but I don't really understand what do you mean...? The pod is attached to carabiners with those blue stripes there are no red ones. Maybe that's not what you mean.
@@MrOjmjakon I fly with Ozium 2 and I remember in the manual it says that you should be careful and attach your pod to the carabiners with red strap not blue one. I didn't mean to disrespect just wondering. Have a nice day.
Very nice adventure and thanx for sharing🙏🏻
Thanks Ben for your great communication of the spirit and love for the elements and for Mother Earth.
Amazing I really enjoyed with you congratulations 🎉❤ nice trip

Amazing video and spirit!
Thanks for taking us with you! And Kudos for choosing the Dolomites for your first bivy trip, very courageous! It is not easy terrain...
Fun to watch. I live in Anchorage Alaska. We have big mountains we fly every summer. And a big group of pilots. Artic air walkers.

Beautiful video! What a peaceful and lovely trip. A pleasure to watch!
Thanks! :)
Very well made. It was a pleasure to watch!
Great video! I look forward to doing vol biv I just started paragliding about 1 year ago and it has definitely changed my life.
Awesome !
This was beautiful, well done sir :D
Love this 👌🏻
Awesome video, you can tell so much work went into it! I like how on the last morning you use the drone so much to basically empty the battery :)
What a great trip ... despite the weather conditions! Great editing!!!
Thank you very much, Stefan! Yes, the weather was not the best, but good enough to spend some time in the mountains. :)
😃 amazing flying video🤩
Thanks! :)
Very inspiring, thanks a lot for that! Good and relatable decisions. Can you tell me which tent you are using?
Thanks. :) The tent is a 3F Ultralite, which is pretty much worth it. Excellent stuff for the money, we made several volbivs together. :)

great video, hope to learn enough to fly there🤩
Thanks Matias! :)
It's nice adventure bro.
Nice Chanel, you have my support 👍 greetings from germany.
Danke sehr, es freut mich! :)

well done

MEGA.😃🤩
very nice movie! I wonder what time of the year you were at Col Rodella, since you seemed to take off almost alone!
Hi! It was september, but the weather was definitely not the best

@@SkylineTwente probably. This was my first time there
You took poles-free tent and carry drone around in your volbiv gear? -) Which drone it is? -)
Exactly. :) It wasa DJI Mini drone.
Stunning! Is there a director's cut? I could watch this for hours...
Thanks, thanks! The director’s cut is long as hell, and was happy to get rid of editing it…😆
yeah really cool trip! ...which drone did you use for your biwak shots?
Thanks! The drone was a DJI Mini
Sorry for asking but aren't you supposed to hang your Pod on the red loops not blue ones?
