I don't play chess, for the same reasons I don't play Tic-Tac-Toe. they do make efforts to make it seem more complicated so the human brain can't see everything possible unlike the simple Tic-Tac-Toe, but if we were not limited to 7 short term memory registers of the human brain for holding concepts and were a computer which could see ahead all the moves, we would see it was similiar to tic tac toe.
ah yes, simply "if we stop being human, chess is easy". what a take. Nobody, not even Magnus Carlsen, can out calculate a computer. Chess is complicated *because* the human brain cant see everything. Though it's often a tie with best play, even Tic-Tac-Toe has a mathematical best way to start which i find fascinating. And yes, chess played between two engines is a draw, nobody is an engine, the sheer amount of moves compared to the limited amount Tic Tac Toe offers complicates matters.
Way to take a stand dude. You should glue yourself to a busy road in protest to board games.
