Wall Supported Single Leg Romanian Deadlift

- Stand in front of a wall, facing away from it. Pick up a weight (dumbbell or kettlebells) in each hand. Place one foot flat against the wall and be far enough away so that the knee of the leg on the floor is in line with the knee of the leg that is on the wall.
With control lower the weights down the side of your legs bending at the hips, allowing your knees to bend slightly pushing your glutes towards the wall. Lower the dumbbells until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings, then drive your hips forwards and use your hamstrings and glutes to power back up to standing. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Tip: This exercise can also be performed with no weights, by keeping your hands on your hips.
