    I have to say, after so many teardown videos, Edifier speakers look so much more - higher component made speakers than these or Logitech ones or Creative ones etc.
    Seems like everyone but Edifier really cheaps out on components and quality.
    For less than half the price, I think the Edifier 2700/2730/2750 seem to have better components. And I think I'd take the Edifier 2800 any day over these, but well, they're not avail anymore and I got my R2750 recently, so far, am happy.

    • @jungtarcph
      @jungtarcph ปีที่แล้ว

      The Edifier seems to be OK. Let's face it - speakers for 250 USD each, you basically buy 80 USD worth of materials, and the rest is shipping, boxing, marketing, assembly, refunds, business, profit etc. It is amazing you can make such great sounds for much as modest money. But what do you want to pay for? Great sound and simplicity (JBL) or also (Edifier) Bluetooth, Tone controls, Sub Out, Remote, Digital inputs, Internal DAC, etc....The money has to come from somewhere. JBL spends the money on an accurate-sounding speaker with a linear sound profile. In the MK II version, JBL actually makes the front horn and baffle even more rigid. (People started adding glue inside the MK I). Anyway, just my 5 cents. I had the JBLs and also a pair of Edifiers.

    The problem with this category of speakers is the extremely high distortion they have everywhere, even in the mids and low mids, and even at low SPL. They are not very useful in setting dynamics, creating synthesizer sounds,, adding distortion effects, etc, but they are OK for setting overall levels in mixing, panning and stereo effects.

      I don't really hear distortion unless it was recorded that way. These are monitors after all...They tell the truth. As good as 400$ will let you hear. They are pretty flat sounding when adjusted for the environment they are in. Being a soft dome tweeter does allow harmonic distortion in the lower octaves if the music is cranking and there are harmonic tones inducing the distortion I assume your speaking of. It's common in soft domes. These being crossed over way lower than traditional tweeters is what gives them that sound though.

      I got a wharfedale diamond series speaker and it has soft dome tweeter and has big magnet in it, it gives good voice and sound, but I was wanting more detailed treble, airy and I like that kind of sound, i think there should be sufficient treble which smooths the midrange. i will buy JBL new now. Thanks.. I feel like while listening to DJ songs treble gives that feel of energy on top of base, its very much soothing and wow feeling..

      They don't make best speakers in the world, just very good. Saying best clearly shows your bias. Try out different brands. I'm sorry that you bought the synthesis 4367, which are overpriced, realy $15k for a 2-way system and nothing else really ? ? ? You aren't the first JBL evangelist I have come across and you won't probably be the last. All of you keep saying the same thing without real facts to back-up your argument.

      @@Techscrews Plus, I'd be pissed to spend 15 G on "Tower Speakers" that needs to be put on some kind of stand. Those things look kind of short. Gotta admit tho, that blue baffle when you take the grill off looks really cool. I'm guilty too of JBL stuff giving me at least 5% more excitement when trying speakers. Though all the brands of speakers I've tried the past 5 decades have been tremendously exciting. (Maybe from years with JBL N38's?)
