Launard Makia 🏀
totally the Real durv Gary Payton?
He is the most underrated player in the NBA
Ever
Nah that's Gordon Hayward
dude, Gordon Hayward has to earn his keep. When he's 6th all time in scoring, changes the game for a player in his position, wins a championship, wins an MVP, a finals MVP, scores 40 in a game at age 38, and is a member of the 50-40-90 club, then we'll consider thinking about Gordon Hayward. The only other player who could be as underrated as Dirk was Elgin Baylor, simply because he didn't win a championship and played a LONG time ago.
+Pat McGee yeah but Hayward has the stats and the ability of an all star maybe even a superstar and when he retires he'l be with Elgin Baylor in the category of most underrated
+Pistol Pete Mark Aguirre Had the stats too and rings and he's still rated where he is and you don't hear his name tossed around. stats won't matter. it has to be done sort of legacy. Gordon Hayward needs to do something major in order to have some sort of legacy
This guy deserves as much attention as kobe did when he retires
very true
But Kobe won 5 rings...
+Jeremy Hamilton he would have 2 if it wasn't for Shaq
Yeah but Dirk carried his team, kobe had help.
Name any other championship team that did not have atleast 2 or 3 all stars. EXACTLY. You need atleast someone to help you get a championship
Imagine if Nash would've stayed in Dallas and they would've hit their primes together in the mid 2000s...multiple championships for sure
missed that combo
nash incredible and flashy assists
dirk unstoppable jumpshots
I was glad he did it with Kidd instead of Nash.
yeah kidd is as great as nash, so it helps
yeah nash can shoot 3pt better than kidd, or so they say
and Finley
He is a Legend! Dirk Nowitzki fan for life!
innahpurpleviolet 😍😍😍
Here after his retirement
What a legend 🙏🙏🙏😭
@Daithi de Roiste Dirk is a german Basketball Player. And a legend. German is the best. My father Land. ❤
And he did it all in a Dallas Mavs uniform. Can't really say that for many players anymore.
I miss those battle of nowitzki, duncan, and KG in their primes. They were all very special talents.
Isn't the prime of an NBA career like 26-29 because Kevin Durant is in his prime right now
***** Oh shit, I'm to used to seeing KD, thanks!
somedude335
Prime KG over Prime KD. ALL DAY.
+somedude335 prime is best years. Typically yes it's like 26-31
somedude335 Kevin Garnett
Dirk´s attitude is so professional and reliable. Thats made him one of the greatest off all time.
Ironic how the 2011 Dallas Mavericks had the toughest road to the championship in the last decade. Dirk was just unstoppable
1st Round 4-2
Portland (Brandon Roy, Aldrige)
2nd Round 4-0
LA Lakers (Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Bynum) defending champs
West Finals 4-1
OKC (Durant, Westbrook, Harden)
Finals 4-2
Miami (Lebron, Wade, Bosh)
That's crazy
one of the most legendary championship runs
Dirk is my GOAT for life!!
This is for me the best championship run the recent years. Nobody thought that they will win the championship because everybody is on the Miami Heat bandwagon.
Ironic??
I'm going to miss him so much when he retires.
sometimesgeeky i might cry when this day comes
maybe he plays the next 2 years. I hope so.
+eisen dieter Bro he's Ike 50
+NewKemba he's 38

5:44 Dirk is like: Where's the hand in my face?... Ah there is. *swish
Lol
I feel for that lol

Dirk Nowitzki Fadeaway king
@Robert Drake yes for all the unbelievers the movie is called : The perfect shot i think.
Bro!!! What the...😝!!! Most impossible fade in this league!!!
@@mongob9834 one of the hardest to block, same level to the sky hook

Not top 20 top 10 fuck u mean...
King Of Texas at least top 10

Top 5, his fade away jumper could be the NBA logo,
LeBron, Kobe, MJ, Bird, Dirk is my top 5. Keyword "my"
Let's not forget to mention his 70M+ pay-cut too stay with Dallas
Loyalty
Wealthy
Man I love Dirk. Beats all odds and becomes an MVP, Championship winner, while staying loyal to the team that believed in him. Everyone should look up to this man as a role model, and he's up there on the level of Timmy D in terms of respect. He is greatness personified.
dirk is a freaking badass
dudes jumper is just unfair, its like this nigga is using aimbot, his release is just on autopilot
This Is The Best Commet Ever
Lol
March's Very Own lol it is called basketball shooting technique
Neil Tipton shut up nigga
Most underrated superstar ever
I'm just so happy for Dirk that he has a championship. A lot of people forget that not only did they beat Lebron and the Heat in the finals but they SWEPT the DEFENDING CHAMPS THE LAKERS before that. Respect.
And they beat a Thunder team with Westbrook, Durant, AND Harden. Unbelievable stuff.
yeah a truly remarkable man which proves that you don't need a bunch of superstars just to get championship title.. HALL OF FAME Candidate for me when he retires
@@8024hawk harden was not the player he is now and westbrook hadn't reached his prime yet, KD was OKC's superstar then
That laker squad was old and had team issues. Not an excuse just they weren't a huge obstacle at that point
@@porfiriato84 I RESPECTED DIRK I SAID MY LAKERS GONNA GET SWEPT
Thx for everything Dirk as a german i‘m so proud of you!🇩🇪🏀 that you mark a Big Name in the NBA your Story is just unbelieveable💪🏼!!! #ALL41
One of 3 players ever to win a ring without another all star on his team. Second best PF ever.
What about Jason Kidd?
Knicks/Thunder/Laker Fan Kidd wasn't an all star in 2011
oh, my bad
Who are the other two?
thomasm33996 Ben Wallace and Tim Duncan
Well at the end Nowitzki was the best talent of his draft class
Damnit goodbye Dirty Dirk grew up watching you, that fade-away........you brought the excitement to Dallas if anyone deserved it more it’s you good luck thanks again for the memories 💯🙏🏽
Absolute legend. One of the most humble and talented players to ever play in the NBA.
I met him in real life he is fucking huge

his shots are like missiles, such high arks.
glad to see Dirk finally get his ring. one of the most underrated player in history.
Makes me cry every time. But it's a good cry.
one of the underrated players of all time.

Truly an all time great, talent, and human being. He was special.
One of the most underated legends ever along with Duncan. Props to their mad scientist-like mentors.
I'm glad I've had the pleasure of being a nowitzness his entire career. Going to be a sad day when he retires. Pure class player. The league is better for him being in it. The first big man to bring that kinda game to the nba. First ballot hall of fame no doubt.
Nowitzness 😄☺️
The most impressive moment in my 10 years experience watching nba is in 2011 when Dirk and his Mavs get the champion when no one believe they can do that.
Dirk looks like the nicest guy on the planet. Usually when NBA players dunk/score over someone they have this "Scary" or "Dominant" face that they make, while dirk over here just smiles every single time.
Man I miss this era of basketball. It was just pure magic and substance.
I'm crying. So proud of Dirk. #MFFL 💪💙
Dirk is the Best PF in the game, (dont even give me that Anthony Davis crap because he hasn't had enough time in the league yet) he's almost 40 and is still a beast, he's become a defensive liability now because of age but he's still an amazing, for someone his age to get more than 30+ now is amazing and I've only known basically Michael to do it (40 pts at age 40!? Lol) it's amazing how healthy he's been lately Go Mavs
+TheReaper 5877 Well. There's a dude named Tim Duncan who's still killing it out there at the age of 39.
Dirk is still 37.
+TheReaper 5877 Duncan nor Dirk are even close to the best pf's in the league anymore...get the fuck out of here with that nonsense. Blake Griffin is clearly the best PF in the league now.
+David so I'm clearly not entitled to my very own opinions huh? And why watch this, if Blake is the best? Watch his highlights not dirks
+TheReaper 5877 he might be the second best Tim is number 1
What? That dude has one of the best teams in the NBA and he still cannot get past the first round of the playoffs. Playoffs is where you'll see who's the real alpha and who's not, its where you'll first see the fruition of an nba great. If blake can't lead his talented clippers team to at least a conference final, then he certainly cannot be considered as the top PF in the game!
I had to pleasure of seeing him play live. Im from a small town and traveled to LA to see him play against the clippers. I was awe struck by his form, To this day I believe Dirk has the purest form I have ever witnessed in any player in any era.
This man is like the Rocky Balboa of the NBA, he was the underdog everyone doubted until he went superhuman.
ITS THE GERMAN JESUS
lol
Philip lee . I am German
O.Gesus
@sanjay a p p no he's German, same thing like there exist many German surnames in USA too.
And are they German? No!
greetings from Germany man and don't be racist.
@sanjay a p p
also from the view of the name, Dirk is an old German name, so in general what's your point?
Greatest Maverick of all time
One of my favorite player of all times, simply outstanding
Im a simple man. I see Dirk, I press that like button.
Wow, this is an absolutely beautiful mix. Thank you so much for posting this. Dirk will always be my favorite player. He'll always be a hero in Dallas. He'll always be the original spark that got me to try out for the basketball team. The man is a legend, on and off the court. Imma bawl like a giant baby during his hall of fame speech.
I can't wait for the day. Dirk revolutionized the 4 spot and is the reason I'll always be a mavs fan
HEY DIRK, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES BIG GUY.
KG, Timmy, Dirk, Happy to see these legends compete against each other💙💙💙
Dunking Deutschman
THE GERMINATOR
Greetings from Germany👋🏻
and Dirk is why I became a mavericks fan 🙌🏻🙌🏻
One of my favorite shooters since i was a kid!!!!
That first song giving me the 2k11 nostalgia!!!
He was such an amazing player. And a great person too, always loved by everyone and out of any trouble outside the court. A true gentleman. One of those people you just can't hate
TY for 2 decades DIRK!!! Made the 00's much more enjoyable! Never be another like you, you'll always be my GOAT!! We LOVE you in Dallas, you'll always be a TEXAN to us! :D No better feeling than seeing you lift that trophy after they robbed you in 06! You are a TRUE CHAMP!!
In his rookie season, he looked like Porzingis looks like now. Calling it, Porzingis is gonna have the same hair in 10 years
lmao
I'm pretty sure dirk had kind of a bad rookie year didn't he?
+Mark he meant the hair
Rated Zigs I read it as year lmao
LOL
To be legend! My Dirk.
forever my Idol bro... As i start loving basketball he is my first idol in nba wayback n my high school life 2002-2006 until now. Forever im gonna miss this guy thank u for the inspiration ,u inspired many young people. Godbless u Dirk, love from Philippines ❤
this give me goosebumps. Dirk you'll always be my No.1 PF
Greatest power forward of all time
Dirks fade away jumper > anyone else’s ever
Most underated Guy in the history!! He made insane stat and he create is own move and post Hook shot ans finishing move , Dirk in my Heart for life!😎
He honestly is in my top five. Hes amazing, accuracy like no one else in history.
As a bucks fan, it makes me upset that we didn't get to keep dirk. Imagine if we had him and young ray allen. We could've made a title run
man that vid is great. the cut scenes, music, the intros with some plays when he was young. just a big copilation, one of the best vids ive seen on youtube.as a german i have to say that dirk is the best sportsman we ever had, no one did play with remark his sports in that way before and drive as an example
+Lyn zaC Thanks, man! Much appreciated.
i agree. go dirk
+Lyn zaC Michael Schumacher
+Shannon Burnette No, just no!! Schuhmacher might be the best Formula 1 driver ever. But he never was a good example for young people. He was an arrogant und unsportsmanlike guy. He never was very popular, esspecially in the Formula 1. When germans see Dirk in an interview, they feel like its a guy from the neighborhood and he is very popular among the NBA players as well
Hall of Famer!
Damn I was a kid in high school freshman when he came in. It's sad seeing legends like him retiring like other legends in his era who had retired such as KG, Duncan, Iverson, Kobe, Shaq, Ray Allen, Nash to name a few. Man these were some great players. This means I'm really old now lol.
Thanks man! I remember trying to play how he did as a teen. He was sick with it. GOAT
This video needs more views
How could anyone dislike a video with dirk in it?
Ethan Schmitt idk bro
no matter what people say, his 2011 finals performance will last forever. ultimate clutch game after game.
i do remember like every big play from that series and lets not forget the shoutouts against OKC in the CFs when Dirk dropped 161pts in 5 Games. that was just awesome vs the young Durantula. same playoffs the sweep against the Lakers and that crazy 3pt game where it fell from everywhere and totally crushed LA
There is not a single reason to dislike this guy. For me he is the most humble and loyal player ever in NBA. I will miss your signature fade away and the way you play.. I love you so much my No.1 idol😘😘
Best scoring big of all time.
dirk was so ahead of his time...check out how every big man wants to be dirk now
Being that I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.. It's gonna be a sad day when this man retires.
I might even cry.
I'm glad he got a ring tho, he earned it.
But here in my home, and all of Dallas, Tx.. Dirk is and always will be a LEGEND.
Probably the most beloved sports figure in Dallas history
I used to play years ago this guy has been my inspiration to come back and try again.
GOAT
Fredy Rodriguez not even goat white player
2nd best talent after Michael Olowokandi...That's debatable
Micheal who?:p
Michael Olowokandi was a huge draft bust
John Jim Jeff JeromeWho is Michael Olowokandi and is there any videos of such a great talent. Can't find anything on google of such enormous talent.
+John Jim Jeff Jerome never even heard of the guy...
Andrew Lin As I already mentioned: He was a huge draft bust. His career high have been 12.3 points per game in 2002-03.
GERMAN GOAT. Best PF of all time. Led the Mavs on the greatest playoff run of all time. 30K Points, 21 years of Greatness. Love Dirk
Dirk fought hard for that ring..I watched that whole season and I just knew it was his time..1 of my favorite players ever
i realized while watching the vid that dirk is old now maybe 3-4 yrs more left in him feel sad when he retires dirk is my basketball idol since childhood till now AAC should have a statue of him like mj in chicago
NOTHING MORE TO SAY :
"If I'm Serge Ibaka, I'm naming my first son Dirk." ~ Jeff Van Gundy
I was in college when I first saw Dirk play. 20 years ago. Amazing. Vince also.
That unstoppable fade away shot. So beautiful.
It sucks he is underappreciated in the league. I know I will be close to crying when he leaves the floor for the last time in his last game.
As a young kid in the early 2000s I hated Dirk because imo he wasn't as flashy as Tmac AI Kobe etc but as I got older I appreciated his game and liked him as a player ...thanks Dirk enjoy retirement
Fantastic video for Dirk legend .. Iam so happy .. Thanks man
Dirkkkkkk I yelled right before i sprayed they’re ass on the court 😅you changed the game my guy we appreciate ya‼️💯
Its very sad seeing the only good german Player in the nba retiring in the next few years. Hopefully Dennis Schroder will be a Future HoF-er
Not only the best German player but the best European player ever
There is Schroder guy on the Hawks but he doesn't really compare to Dirk
And second best international player behind Hakeem Olajuwon
Denis Wurm Mr no look pass D-SCHREMPF
Don’t ever forget. #41
Finish the job he kept saying. Job complete, Dirk Nowitzki NBA Champion. Love it
Dirk is one of the greatest ever imo with that playoff run in 2011 he was unstoppable
Wow. Never knew my bucks drafted him. Of course we traded him away too smh🤦♂️
Your bucks are champs now ✊🏾
@@DarmaniFlame yup
love you dirk. T_T
Watching this gives me warm feelings.
One of the most important basketball players in nba history, in my eyes. The name that comes to mind with Kobe when fadeaway is mentioned :). You can't see many other players who are 2.13m tall and have such an effective shot, and when you do, it's Kevin Durant :) He was a really special player.
Dirk retirement speech: "Thank you all for past 21 years..."
Me: "21!? Seriously?"
Look it up, "I'll be damned..."
Remember he is made in Germany, "Oh right, no wonder"
Thank you, Dirk.
who else thinks Porzingis is reminding of Dirk ?
Kind of yes
Yea big man but good shooter
+adam alexiusson Big man good shooter, huh? Yeah, I can name a few more of those kind of guys. Ilyasova, Telotovic, Ryan Anderson, Kevin love, Casspi, Ibaka, Bargnani, Ryan kelly, Mirotic, Bosh, Tolliver, Donatas, Kaminsky, Marvin Williams, I could go on. What I'm trying to say is that not every spot up shooter is the next Dirk. Example, Andrea Bargnani, Dirko, and just about everyone on that list^.
Andre DrummGOD casspi is a sf
+Andre DrummGOD no shit there is more big men thats good shooters, I just said one thing they have in common, I think the way they play is similar. And though theese players are good shooters dirk and porzingis shoots like a shooting guard. And of course other big men does it to😒
Dirk is such a loyal and hard working player it's very hard to hate him. When Dallas won that championship he carried that team to the championship. He had some help, but it was mainly all on his shoulders. Best shooting power forward ever.
widely regarded as one of the greatest power forwards of all time, rightfully so. he was a beast.
