I had chrome surrounds on my R56 Mini. When I renewed the plates last year I decided to discard the surrounds. After looking at them again I thought the front looked better without it but the rear looked bare, and just like yourself I put the surround back on it.

The Euro badge is actually illegal now due to Brexit and means you would still need a 'UK' sticker to drive in Europe. The new international identifier on legal plates is to have the Union Jack flag and 'UK' ...not GB and not the Euro star circle. Cheers Boris/Cameron

These plates are 100% legal, not show plates
As a physicist I can tell you that there is no such thing as 4D

How about doing something with practical purpose like fitting security number plates???
Stick the front and rear plates with some 3M vhb double sided tape and they will not be coming off in one piece.
The tape supplied is very strong as is

Actually the GB badge is useless too. To be legal driving in the rest of Europe you need a UK badge with a Union Jack on your plate. If you don't then you need a large UK sticker stuck to the back of your car.
