Looks great! Impressed with your abilities. I have a 2000 with 250k on it and had the bottoms of the front seats replaced in 2017. Makes the vehicle seem so much nicer when you have new leather. Appreciate all your videos you are putting out!
My 2000 lx470 I bought it and the Leather was so dirty, dry ,cracked and pale I used shampoo first to clean it a weeks after I put Vaseline and it really changed then I used leather softener and now it’s away different
honestly I never ordered any, I just saw that the sandstone was lighter than the light tan, with that said I would order what ever is most close to yours I also got the Napa, that could be slightly off
I ordered the samples as well and found that Light Tan is the best match. Sandstone sample was way beige. But the actual seat covers I received are noticeably off from the Light Tan sample. The seller was not responding to the email or the call and had to go through Paypal for the resolution. The seller replied to Paypal that the sample and actual covers can vary due to supply issues. So be careful when ordering with Ridies
Awesome job. Can you tell me more about the cement? Brand? Do you just put it on the center foam pieces? I'm going to order all this stuff now and do this to my 01 Land Cruiser with 218k. Thanks

My opinion is that the leather was good quality however, something being sat on by a 150-200LBS person everyday for 20 + years, I would expect ripping/tearing/drying out etc.

Why not show how you actually took the leather off
Good story but those leather seats from lexus were not cheap they just got worn out over the years
Where did you get the center console replacement leather?
it came with the kit
Are you sure sandstone is the right color? I ordered the samples and light tan looks to match the best. Did you order the samples as well?

I just used 3m spray contact cement, it works great, you can get lots of different foam on amazin
What does the cement do?
@@alexclark7533 if you add foam to bolster up some of the old foam its a great glue for it
Oh you’re using it as an adhesive to add additional foam, now I’m following thanks
