I own two Indian motorcycles and just purchased a 1993 Goldwing. it is a great feeling owning a 30 year old bike that you can ride around in comfort for years and years! I see people putting 300k miles on these things.
I just sold my 2014 Goldwing for my first Harley Davidson. I really liked the Goldwing, good bike. I just was tired of the plastic surrounding the frame and all the rattling every time I hit bumps. The Harley has good old fashioned Steel and I like the older school look with modern technology.
Nice to have more than one brand of bikes. I have Harleys (on my 4th one now- a Springer CVO), I have Goldwings (currently have 4, different years) and BMWs, all good in their own ways. No need to discriminate.
You are right man, i had 34 bikes in my life and 10 harley, harley is good for all community but so bad suspension, a lot of money for Harley, last 5 years began buy old Goldwing, a 1981 GL1100 , and a 2000 1500 goldwing, wow that a very nice bike and like you i rode a lot of sport bike , this Goldwing 1500 best bike never have for 5000$ better than a 50000$ harley
Sorry I ll keep my 1800 wing from now on, besides the price of hogs is very expensive with lots of up charges .. but to each there own . I have mostly been treated very well by Harley riders as I treat them.. not what you ride , that you ride
I really enjoyed this video good upload fun to watch comparison. Now you got me thinking about getting a Honda bike! 😵💫 you don’t see so many bikes up here in northern va you must be in a better county.😆
Dude, we think alike…I have a King and a Wing, love the Sox and have that same hat.. I even have 14” bars (unless yours are 16”?)….I love my King but NOTHING compares with my ‘24 GoldWing.
Why can't we all just get along 2 wheels is 2 wheels I have a goldwing. I think Harleys some are nice but they still have 2 wheel just lime mines . You know what you mentioned it's so try I have waved and theybdont even look at me or wave back . Ehh that's fine no sweat of my back but I never understood the big deal its just a bike anyway I like the chrome ont the Harley you have there.
I'm 30 seconds in and maybe this gets addressed as a joke but the 4th Gen GL1500 was exclusively made in AMERICA !!!. Marysville, OH, to be exact. You can argue the Japanese but IMPORT, is dead wrong to even say as a joke or for later correction. (Yeah i have a 96 GL1500SE)
The Goldwing is assembled in the USA not made in the USA, All they do in Ohio is put them together, And yeah I too own 2 of them, 1983 Interstate 1100 and the 1986 Interstate, 1200 I Love my Fatboy Harley & I Love the Goldwing, I'm going to find me a 1500 that is assembled in the good Ole USA ❤
To be fair, that's acceptable because the Honda brand itself is overseas. Harley-Davidson, on the other hand, makes a bold claim to be American made only, and they compromised it by having it's parts made in China and is now doing the same thing with how Ohio simply assembles Hondas right out the crate and slaps a built in USA label on it.

I sat on a Harley and it was a NO! I sat on the Goldwing and bought it. It screams comfort, tranguilty and almost maintenance free.

Btw, you should hear the reactions of Harley guys when you pull up on a Goldwing DCT….”that’s not even a motorcycle, it’s a scooter”…classic

It's simple ,,, the Harley is definitely a P-51 mustang 💖,,,,,,,, the 1800 Goldwing is an F-16 ❤️

They’re going to make Harley’s in Thailand soon.

For years Harley wheels were made in Adelaide, South Australia before they moved manufacturing to China.
My Honda VTX is more american than Harley Davidson ever was, you're information is incorrect.
No it's I know this joke is old, but it's literally true. Honda cruisers are not from the USA or Japan. It's from Ohio.
