      Yes and why its so incredibly shocking Noam never ,ever mentioned it was the CIA who invented all major MSM like CBS,NBC ect from inception for their own benefits ,obviously. As recently proven seen with the twitter files hundreds upon hundreds of NATO ,CIA,FBI, DOD ex employees ,lol, surely a coincidence, lmao.. New interview on Rumble with Tucker & a guy named Mike Benz says all you will ever need to know. For a man as brilliant as Chomsky ,it is amazing he never figured this out over 70 years , or he did but never told the rabble & unwashed masses !!

    Does anyone else get a black screen for a while after about half an hour, followed by much lower volume when visuals resume? Can barely hear it after 33 minutes

      @@talhadawood7969 weirdly I've had issue with my Bluetooth earpods when listening to lectures about karl marx and sound would often go off in documentaries about Tibet's invasion.
      Never happened with non political videos, but perhaps it's just me.

    Thank you for this video. Unfortunately after adding a post with some useful time stamps especially relevant to current event, and despite of saving several times between each added time stamp I finally received an error and the whole post disappeared. I found the same lecture in another channel and I will try again. I'll also keep a record of them outside of TH-cam just in case. I'll later try to post it here again.

    Hats off to all the renegades like Chomsky to fight and not give up. It was so tough back in 80s until recently (2010s) to express your ideas to a vast audience in a every more centralized corporate ownership of media, today you can use social media for your activism with little fears (shadow banning , canceled) and its easy to fight back. this should motivate all the young Chomsky's no cap

      Heya Matt... fan of your production work. Thrilled to find you commenting on a remarkable presentation delivered by Professor Chomsky.
      I've returned to this speech as I wished to cite commentary by the good Professor concerning the CIA's role in cultivating the narcotics trade by empowering local mafias for their assistance in "strike breaking". I've posted this citation to a Majority Report video concerning the (The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder | "French Strikers Throw Wrench In Macron's Plans" | Jan 1, 2020 [ th-cam.com/video/bavXHYphZok/w-d-xo.html ])

    It is disappointing to find out about corruption and dirty moves that a certain (hopefully small) percent of American politicians engage in (although they have a presentable facade). But I wonder- just how much worse off would The United States be if we didn't have someone to identify the lies, deceits, and manipulations of the people who are supposed to be our leaders? These people are supposed to be protecting your rights- not applying cut-throat political moves that take away your human rights. Noam Chom Sky does some serious work.

    I love how channels like this, enjoyed by people like you and me, use Händel and other music originally of the Aristocracy and still dear to the hearts of members of the ruling class, to set the mood before revolutionary political-economic analysis. It's great music, of course, and dear to my neo-proletarian heart as well, but I always need to hum a few bars of a Joe Hill or a Robert Johnson or a Woody Guthrie tune to myself for balance.

    • @qmance8062
      @qmance8062 ปีที่แล้ว

      For christs sake its music dude, you choose to make it political. Maybe you should go and hum neolithic cave music: bone flute mix. What do you even mean, close to the heart of the rulling class?

    • @MsDuketown
      @MsDuketown ปีที่แล้ว

      don't associate classic music with just music! That like confusing Hamburger Hill with Mount Ararat. Händel, Beethoven, Vondel, Schopenhauer and the likes form the base of secular music. The all were some sort of Semi Universalis.
      I'm happy there is no electro music, Alice in Chains or some band member from the Club of 27 attached to it. Just like Antony Blinken.

    about the media, and the Jeffersonion method. In Europe they refer to the Code of Bordeaux, with an amandement regarding racism in 1985 or so.

    It might be true that most people are ignorant. But, our society is kind of structured around making everybody ignorant. And what would really be better for people and the world: Rich people controlling the government in their interests or having more it be more influenced by the public. Public opinion is almost completely the opposite of policy in Washington. And I don't think most of the current or past policy choices have really been in the best interest the population or the planet.

    I sometimes find myself agreeing with that sentiment. However, it really comes down to people managing there own affairs or a handful of "chosen" managing everything. It doesn't seem to be going that well so far and we've never had anything like a real democracy before. So, I'd say we should at least try it before dismissing it as inferior.

    It isn't a matter of deficiency of the common man, in my opinion. An average multinational company will budget the majority of its capital, not on material or development or anything having to do with actual PRODUCTION; they spend most of their money on advertising and public relations. Such is our culture: they have to spend an incredible amount of resources just to convince the average Joe that what they're selling is worth buying. Remove that voracious apparatus and you'll see people are good

    Since the academic revolution of 2009, and the Orthodox extention of 2019 I see no difference between kapitalism and communism. Besides, the social functions are tied to society and not to government style. We all remember the Wigged Wiener Fat Cows..
    But the need to get Google out of your life is stronger than ever. Besides, since the Brexit, all pré-AI philosophy changed, and not as gradual as the world has grown used to.
