Nice one. This my job tomorrow morning. I understand why drivers we're hanging back now. Luckily I haven't damaged my disc. It was hard to tell with 180bhp.
i got same problem, the pads seized and burning smell. i have removed it, greased the cylinder and the guide pins ,, same thing happened again. I am wondering if a faulty ABS sensor could cause this? (i dont have error message from the computer) ......
The original calipers are ATE. I bought Pagid caliper and find out, that this part of the caliper, where the spring must to touch to caliper , not to the carrier,is 6-7 mm shorter than of original and the spring do not pull the caliper corectly. Look on video at 4 minute(original caliper) and at 16 minute (the new caliper)
There is a much better way to avoid leaking from the brake hose while changing the caliper.. Press the brake pedal halfway down and lock it there, nothing leaks after that... Trust me...I have used that method since 1990....
Just what I needed to make sure I can replace my left rear caliper in 1 go. Thanks for the effort of making this detailed video.
Many thanks, great video- a very clear ‘how to’, and some pit falls …
Thank you for watching and leaving feedback, much appreciated! 👍
Great, great tutorial! Thank you!!
Thanks Jose, glad to help 👍

Great video. Feels like you're getting fed up! Same here! I have similar issues, drivers side front window and sticky rear brake 😢
Ah men, mine is doing this aswell. i've greased up everything and changed pads. Is the brake calipers the last step to fix this?
Thank you for this helpful video
Good job, where do you get the recon callipers?
Thank you. Any motor factors will be able to supply them for you. My local is GSF now.

When i opened sliders for first time, had the same ouch. Then opened with hit or bigger/longer arm.
Hi, thanks for the video, do you have torque specs for the slide pins? Is it necessary to air all 4 brakes after replacement of one caliper?
No, Just the one you changed
Hi!
I bought a new brake caliper and the rattle spring does not touch either the bottom or the top. It's installed correctly, any idea what's wrong?
Was the metal piece that separates the shoes fitted correctly?
