    Joe H. does a very thorough job in this audio presentation. While there is always more that can be said, his emphasis remains on target throughout each step. Thank you, Odomtology, for your efforts in bringing these talks to TH-cam.

    Every drug is different from the others and I have been taking drugs for over 4 decades and have consumed all sorts of drugs from, puff, benzos, Charlie, heroin, dikes, tunal, palfium , acid, morphine, methadone, dexys and etc etc ....I hope that you are still with me and I put all those drugs there to get the point across hopefully. The point is that I have had much experience in this area and I can say, a drug and booze is also included in this recipe, is not a drug and the same as everyother drug.

    I thought the mental obsession ( that must be Smashed) was that we could drink like normal people

  • @hollylooya

    Fantastic. I do disagree, tho, that addiction to drugs and addiction to alcohol can be separate. An addict is an addict and if one substance is not available, the addict will usually seek something else for relief, even if s/he hasn't had a problem with that substance in the past. It's the insanity and compulsion of the disease. Great message otherwise.

    • @carriecupcake3737
      @carriecupcake3737 8 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      +Holly Looya Totally disagree. I am an alkie who did drugs, not an addict. Learning this distinction possibly saved my life. I am 14 years sober now after slipping for years in AA. Understanding Alcoholism is VERY important for a real alcoholic.

    • @TheBrookybrook
      @TheBrookybrook 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Holly Looya i disagree.. we substitute yes and you can be both but an alcoholic and an addict can be seperate and r very different

    • @TheBrookybrook
      @TheBrookybrook 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well also very alike but an alcoholic is just that.. we can take or leave drugs at times.. not alcohol

    Way to massively over complicate a simple program!
