    Pres. Mackhenzi is correct. Black people won't move foward if we keep looking behind. We need to move past the tragedy of apartheid and focus on the journey ahead.

      @@n.m6249 that's 💯 true. As black people we have to do the most work when I comes to healing and moving past it doesn't mean that we forget. We just don't let it be at the forefront of our minds and let the pain control us. Our feelings are valid, yes! but are they helping us to better our community or are they weighing us down?

    • @n.m6249
      @n.m6249 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Blinky_Blinks139 black people who suffer will understand, some black people who have never suffered have no clue, you clearly don't have a clue. For healing to happen, those who did wrong must show accountability and remorse, then compensate. Years of suffering don't end overnight because some people feel uncomfortable to confront the truth, nothing has been done to address the past, instead we are getting poorer and those who benefit from the past are just living a better life than ever

    • @Blinky_Blinks139

      @@n.m6249 unfortunately we can't force people to show remorse unless we're prepared to conquer them the same way that they did us by forcefully taking their estate and women, unaliving their men and children, just as the did durring apartheid. Are we as the black race ready and equipped for such a war? coz if we plan on not moving forward, not starting a war and our only option is to wait to be compensated we might as well wait till Jesus comes. Unless, maybe you have a solution to our problem, Id love to hear about it coz I'm always open to a new way of thinking

    I’m in my 70’s. As I child I saw my mum and dad work so hard for our schools to raise funds. Parents were always coming up with fantastic ideas to raise funds for projects. It was a government school, the PTA raised money to build a school hall, extra classrooms, library etc. also to subsidize teachers. It was not in a well off area. The camaraderie was amazing, we felt part of one big family. If we had waited for the government to supply everything, we would have probably gone without.

Like for instance the second world war was terrible for all,what caused the second world war...building anger,frustration and hate in others. Fighting over being Christian and being Jewish.Jesus preached love ,peace and forgiveness for a reason. What is the opposite of love and peace.... hate and war. Keep the peace people for you don't even know all you have in peace until peace is gone.

Changing place names and geographical location is a sign of poor and incompetent leadership and weak leadership. When you achieve higher level to present internatiol you got sport sponsorship. 💯 % this is not reality, it's so easy to make yourself a good person in front of a screen. If someone is truly sorry for their actions, they show accountability and remorse. They compensate you and that helps you with grief. If they say forget about the past and move on, that's another level of insensitivity. You are absolutely correct, if we don't speak about the matter and pretend everything is fine, then the matter will never be resolved. Years of pain don't end overnight

    We must forgive. But see what the private sector do to their workers. Total exploitation. You work under the same roof. A certain group can buy farms and holidays. And all the others can't afford milk and bread till month end. The government must look into this in the private sector.

    For black people to move forward, the past must be rectified, we are in pain and need to be compensated, we must talk about the matter so it can pass, ignoring the matter makes it always return, years of pain won't end overnight, as much as time is passing by and years are passing, what is being done to those who were wrongfully treated, if nothing is done then nothing will change, if matter is swept under the mat, it is not dealt with. I fully understand Robert Marawa.

    Rugby got a rugby development structure. From school, varsity U21, U23 to senior level there is a plan. Soccer lack far, far behind. No planning. Sins 2008 2 yrs before our 2010 world cup our soccer went down a downward spiral. Money and corruption were striving.

    Forgive without addressing it? We have people walking around with this dimbass attitude, blissfully unaware about how damaging our history was/is. Sweeping it under the rug, or at least the attempt to, is direct a contributor to our unbalanced society. South Africa needs to be honest about its history and put meaningful measures to address it.

    • @n.m6249
      @n.m6249 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      💯 if you don't address a matter, it will keep arising. If someone has wronged you, they must show accountability and remorse. They must compensate you, only then healing can begin. The reason this dark history is still hanging over us is because it's being ignored. And we are just being told to move on as if nothing happened. There's a reason that Marawa is still carrying those words after all these years, it's because it's swept under the rug

      @@n.m6249 And you know what's crazy? It's mainly white people that support Gayton's views. They have never been affected by racist laws, they've only ever benefitted as they continue to benefit from the legacy of the those laws. They'll go off about how apartheid ended 30 years ago as if they suddenly became all embracing of black people and welcomed us with open arms into their homes, schools and places of work. Damn hypocrites, it's all fine as long as they don't experience any growing pains of rebuilding a nation. Accountability is not a very white thing to do, being part of a solution is not a white thing to do. But my word can they conjure up victimhood, my favourite being reverse racism, like really?

    Mackenzie who own the land

  • @n.m6249
    @n.m6249 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    In order to heal and forgive, the one who wronged you must also show accountability and acknowledgement and compensate, then the process of healing can take place but if the one who wronged you tells you to just forget and move on, that increases the pain because they sound insensitive. Its a two way streak, why do you think Robert Marawa still has this issue on his mind, it must be talked about not ignored.

  • @FrankKgobe
    @FrankKgobe 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The idealogy of Mackenzie is the same as ANC. The problem with ANC is implementation. There must be equal share of resources among all citizens. Without equality and equal share of resources, outsiders like Nigerians, Zimbabweans will try to manipulate and divide us for their own benefit.
