Interesting point about the neutral foundations! I'm a coppery redhead with an undeniably warm undertone, but most "warm" foundations leave me looking a little jaundiced. I'm always surprised at how much better the neutral ones work for me.
OMG! I’ve spent 25 years searching for the perfect lipstick for my fair skin. LOVE your “swipe and oil” method. It’s a miracle! Tried it with a dark liquid lip stain by sephora (let it sit for a while, then blotted) and topped it with Ulta’s lip oil (color is smirk). I LOVE it!! Thank you!! ❤

Per usual, your advice is spot-on. I love what you said about bronzer placement and only focusing on neck and just perimeters of the face. Very illuminating for me because as you said, we don't usually "bronze," like most folks. I know i just burn....but before that happens, there is a beautiful brownie-pink color that can occur on my skin. I think thats why so many of us are drawn to shades like that Gucci bronzer in 01; it has that beautiful pinky-brown shade native to a lot of our skin tones. A lifetime devotee to The Quest for the Perfect Pinky-Bronzer, I've recently discovered a fantastic shade that's a bit less coin that Guicci. The color of MOB Beauty's bronzer in M36, described as a "rose taupe" is just gorgeous and at only $23-28 (depending on packaging needs) is one I highly recommend you to check out. (MOB Beauty as a whole is a very underrated brand that I think should get more youtube love, but that's an entirely different topic!) So now that I've got a great color native to my skintone, I'm going to try your suggestion for bronzer placement. I bet it will be a win! I look forward to your video on pale neutral foundations. I'm all about that life for sure! Have you looked into k-beauty much? I have found some of my very best pale-neutral shade matches with brands like Purito and Missha. Shades like 21N are great places to start. What I've noticed is that shades that swatch almost grey-leaning tend to work perfectly on my pale-neutral skintone. If you haven't looked into these yet, you absolutely should! Ashley, your channel is a goldmine of information for us melanin-challenged folks! I'm so happy to have you in this space and I'm thrilled you are back to making regular content again. I look forward to each and every post. ❤❤❤
right now I LOVE the shade charming pink from bare minerals. I use it almost everyday! It’s out of stock almost EVERYWHERE but Sephora just restocked it! It’s a gorgeous gorgeous pink on pale skin: howl.me/cjDLBOxbU91
Oh that’s a great question! In general it’s because lids tend to be more oily than the rest of the face so foundation is not not the best base for any eye makeup. Especially if you’re like me and tend to pick more dewy or natural finish foundations! If you’re doing a look with a lot of colorful shadows then an eyeshadow base or primer is best for eyelid prep but in my experience as long as you’re using good quality shadows and your skin isn’t very oily a concealer with a bit of powder is a great base. Some makeup artists disagree and it can vary from face to face but it’s my favorite way to prep the lids 🥰
Today, you don't use powder for the U zone and other areas besides the bright powder for the center of the cheeks, right? Do you only use bronzer and bronzer powder for the bronzer area?
I use a tiny bit of powder anywhere I want to get rid of shine but on the bronzer area I use only the bronzer 🥰 the haus labs bronzer has a nice velvet finish so those areas don’t need any extra powder

Makes so much sense about the contrast.. I had never thought of that. Your perspective is always fresh 💭
It’s because of you, i had the courage to give up sunless tanner. Best decision of my life! I love my fair skin! 💜
Can't tell you how great it is to FINALLY find a channel of someone who is as pale as me. Instant subscribe ❤
I love your channel! It’s been so hard to find good recommendations for my pale skin. Thank you! Also, I love your beauty biography series so much!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Yesssss so many great tips! I literally did my makeup while I watched, and used the Merit Highlighter in Cava right along with you!
Thanks girl!!! I LOVE that highlighter now!! So gorgeous!
Beautiful finish!! I'm definitely going to try that lipstick hack. I noticed your lip color at the beginning of the video. Gorgeous!!
Thank you!! 🥰 I love that hack! If I ever find a lipstick that exact shade I’m going to buy it so fast! 🤣😅

I would love to see a video from you focusing on sunscreen. I try and wear a minimum of 30spf.
Great idea Tanya!! I def want to do this before summer kicks in! 🥰
Love your videos. How about one for a sun kissed glow for pale skin. Not like a total tanned body and face. Just a hint of the sun.
Thank you! 🥰 love that idea! 😊

No they don’t. You’ve been brainwashed by the cosmetic industry. Watch Asian videos and look at their legs. Pale as snow and gorgeous.
