I love a chef that is totally serious about what he does and what he presents to his guests. Being a flexible guest also is important. You will get the best of the best and learn to enjoy new foods and dishes. I'm a very simple eater. But it would be absolutely amazing to have such a special meal.
Just stunning production quality as always, I would have loved just 30 seconds or a minute of Chef Sascha telling us about his background and how he came up that would have been awesome! But 9.5/10 for a superb video guys just a spectacle for the eyes and ears.

The most important job on a yacht is the chef! If the food is good the trip will always be a success. My wife and I recently retired as a chef /captain team. I remember at one job interview the owner said “I know you can handle the boat I want to to talk with the chef”.

Crazy deal land based resteraunts might change complete menu 3 times a year if that? If a chater is 4 days or 12 meals and 14 chaters a season the chef is changing/updating the menu 168 times a year just for charter guests and if crew changes he is updating crew menu as well. Great content, I loved to see the amazing presentation of the food he prepared, it is what drove me to click on the video. I have to be honest though, once I started watching, the most impressive thing about this video is the awesome production, video quality and editing. You don't see this kind of work done on mainstream television.

Great and intrestering video. More of this, but less background music. What kind of equipment do they have inte galley (example pots and pants,oven etc) and difference between yach galley and a restaurant. Can you use gas and live fire on a yacht. Grill and bbq. And a bit of how the crew live onboard and there jobs. How do they shop, provisioning firms or not. do the shopping their self. And happy birthday Jared

Just to be clear.. they change out the plates for different guests…? Like is there home base to store the plates you had used prior? Or they go with the boat?
No no, guests just rarely see the same plate twice on a trip. But there is a huge range.

I'm assuming that all the staff perhaps with the exception of the maintenance engineer have been laid off. This yacht was seized by the Gibraltar Admiralty Court, and is being auctioned off due to a non repayment on an outstanding loan. J.P. Morgan petitioned the Court in order to recover an outstanding $20 million loan against the Russian owner. Although the yacht is valued at $75 million, it's expected to sell for a lot less next week. Just shows that even billionaires can face cash flow problems.

The best fruit & vege is eaten within one hour of harvesting. Impossible when buying - anywhere. I wonder if any Suyperyachts have their own kitchen gardens - they've ample space. Many exquisite foods need little space - ie, mushrooms, micro-greens/sprouts, strawberries, radishes lettuce! ... But - is it worth the effort..
