I remember a couple years ago when you were feeling defeated during fashion week and now you're out here slaying, skin, hair, bod, fashion on point and i just wanted to say Congrats👏, youve worked so hard and stuck to it you deserve it all!
A chatty vlog from Allegra is rare and I love when we get one ❤ this fashion week was a dream for you and us alike! The outfits were BOMB I saved so many of them :D
Allegra! I've used preply to practice my Spanish. I'm a first generation American, born from Mexican parents and I know my Spanish is slipping away. I struggle conversationally and my tutor from preply has helped me SO MUCH through our conversational sessions. Highly recommend!
Ok I know what to do for the piercing bump!! I got my ear pierced in my 20s and this also happens to me. It’s not infected, it’s just irritated. Spray a paper towel or gauze with saline solution (make sure it only has saline in it) and then pop it in the microwave for 5 seconds. Hold it over your piercing like a compress. Do that 2-3 times until it’s better. Avoid wearing hoops, which tend to move around and irritate the piercing. Stick with studs until your ear is happy again 🙂
The standout fashion moment of this video was Allegra's amazing red blazer look. The color red was so vibrant and sizzled with passion. The simple black pants and bag really provided the perfect backdrop for the vivacious red blazer. It is chic and elegant and classic. Very Parisian chic. French women would definitely keep that blazer for years because it never goes out of style. The part about the tiny 300 dollar bottle of champagne was just brutal! It made me not even want to breathe near a hotel mini bar in case it accidentally triggers the sensor to give me a huge bill. That champagne was so expensive that you should have saved the remnants of it and brought it home to Canada in like a empty Evian bottle or something. When you hit your 1 millionth subscriber (which seems dangerously close), you are going to celebrate the right way by buying Canadian sparkling wine from the supermarket at 8 dollars a liter!!! Just kidding. But in all seriousness the vlog shows how much of your blood, sweat, and tears go into your work!
I agree with you so much on the being shy to speak french thing, I've been living in Montreal for 3 years and I fully understand french and know how to speak it decently well but I always get too nervous hahah I need to break the habit
Allegra I am the sammeee exact way with Spanish. It takes a lot of courage to actually get talking and I end up ruining all of my chances by talking myself out of trying it🤦🏼♀️
I got bumps on all three of my piercings I got done at the same time and I was told it was an infection due to them using the wrong earring/piercing on an angle regardless the bumps got so big on the back that we struggled to remove them from the swelling and it hurt like hell and I was told to let them completely heal and close up and now I have no bumps but it took a long time to heal. I also believe I’m allergic to many cheap earrings/my body naturally rejects the metal/healing. I’d recommend removing it and letting it heal and starting over!
Best thing you can do for your ear piercing is go to the dermatologist! I had a nose piercing that just WOULD NOT HEAL for the past like 2 years and I finally went and my dermatologist injected some steroid and it worked! Nothing on the internet helped, but obviously, the dermatologist did the trick! :)
I got a bump in my ear after getting a new piercing and I started using crushed aspirin, it worked wonders for me. ^_^ It'll be gone in about a week if you are consistent (morning and night). Crush and aspirin really well and then mix it with a tiny bit of water to make a liquidy paste. Apply with cotton swabs on the bump and also try to clean the jewelry (move it back and forward to clean it). Clean the excess around but not in the bump nor the piercing. I hope it works! And I love your videos!! ♡
I’ve got a lot of piercings and have some advice. First, stop touching them! Your hands have a lot of germs. Two, don’t sleep on them either. If you have to, people suggest travel neck pillows for sleeping, but I personally just sleep with my ear in the crook of my arm. Also, the best piercing spray to use is one without any additives (ie NeilMed). You’ll want to spray once in the morning and once at night. Do not use witch hazel or tea tree oil like some people suggested. They will only further irritate your piercings. Last, do not change the jewelry until it’s healed. If you follow all of this you should be fine.
I had the same thing happen with my third hole ear piercing and I tried to fix it for like 6 months until I finally just gave up and took it out. It’s the only things that helped! LOL
Witch hazel saved 2 of my cartilage pierce from keloids (the bump). I got mine at Shoppers in the first aid section and applied AM and PM with a cotton pad. If fixed mine within a couple weeks! Don't use it though if the skin is broken.
Allegra literally ordering her saline products on amazon while rotating hotel rooms in a foreign country, instead of just waltzing over to any of the millions of pharmacies in Paris :p
Allegra… the bump will go away as soon as the infection goes away, please don’t worry and keep using the saline solution… I’m not an expert but I have 15 piercings in my body 😅 my best recommendation is that as soon as you are home go with a professional piercer or your piercer for help ☺️ you will be fine don’t worry…. The saline helps every time!
Allegra I love your content and have been watching for years but nothing irks me more than when you say "Paris" like "Puh-ree" - my French speaking self is crying. Anyways, it's crazy to see the growth over the years at fashion week!! Feels like you were just going to fashion week for the first time and it was so stressful and you didn't get in anywhere you wanted etc. etc. Happy and proud to have stuck along your TH-cam journey!
Oh boy lots of terrible piercing advice on here. You likely have an irritation bump which means you have to get rid of the source of irritation or else it will keep coming back. A few things to consider: don’t wear hoops because they move around, try to get a flat back titanium stud put in to make sure it’s not the material causing irritation, butterfly back earrings are great at collecting gunk which causes irritation, don’t use those q-tips they’re super irritating since they poke at it, only use sterile saline solution spray to clean it (Neilmed is a good brand) or rinse it in the shower (no soap)! Do not use aspirin, tea tree oil, or witch hazel, don’t pop it, it’s very likely not a keloid as those are super rare. If you’re having issues still, go to Exotix at Queen and Spadina and have them take a look at it!
Bonjour. Excellent Paris Fashion Week vlog, Allegra. You are a fantastic model for every designer brand. Happy holidays from our channel: Australian Parakeets Stars
Girl tea tree oil is the best thing for infected piercings!!!! Salt water and tea tree oil saved every piercing I have even when it already got infected to the point of growing a keloid!!!
Tea tree oil is super irritating and drying. Keloids don’t come from infections and they don’t go away on their own, they have to be surgically removed.
I used to get keloids from my piercings. Tea tree worked and made the bumps smaller. But ultimately I had to take out the piercing for it to heal fully. x

I used to get chronic ear infections and had my ears re-pierced 4 times until I figured out I could only wear real 10k+ gold! Everything else I was allergic to (even vermeil). Maybe try that :)
Long time subscriber, love your channel. I work for an ENT office. The bump on your ear is called a keloid scar, it is protein build up. Can be treated with steroid injections. Treat asap, if not treated soon, can get bigger and need to be removed. If that happens, see ENT that has plastics fellowship, they do the best work, will never even see a scar.
Piercing bumps are not unusual but if you’re having issues with your piercing go and see/speak to your piercer! They’re the experts and they’ll help to guide you through the healing process or what to do if it’s infected
My ears are the same way. I finally just squeezed the bump as hard as I could. And it popped 🤮 but my ear hasn’t gotten infected since. It still wants to close if I ever take my earring out and still gets weird sometimes…as all my piercings do besides the 1st holes. But it cleared up quickly after I did that 🤷🏼♀️ Worth a try. Thanks for sharing you fashion week. The guys are to die for 👏👏🥳
You have no idea! I’ve seen her work and what she has to do to get here! She’s the hardest working person I know (because she runs two businesses). This is the good stuff :)
AMD I’m sure she works hard and deserves success, but there are maaaany people in the world who work their butt off every day and never get to experience these blessings. That goes for the lifestyle many influencers are lucky enough to tap into at a time of this social media gold rush.
@@neggieyaghooti agreed and she would consider herself fortunate to have started this journey 10 years ago. She also runs Uncles Studios which is a clothing company. Just saying that this isn’t all cocktail parties and shopping :)
