Looking at upgrading to an xdj1000mk2 setup, just wondering if they ever added further beat jump settings (32, 64) on the XP1/XP2, as that is the only fallpoint of upgrading my setup right now. Thanks!
i have 2 xdj1000mk2 and your video made me think of buying that, but I have a question and I can't find any information on the net, a third xdj? Can it be mapped on the 8 lower pads on one side?
It supports up to 4 CDJ's or XDJ's. You can switch by pressing 'INT' and deck number button. Default setup would be decks 1/3 and 2/4 but this can be changed by pressing the USB button on the XDJ in case you want to change the order.
in this way , you can't have 2 pendrives? if you get just only an usb input in the other deck? I'm interested to buy, but I don't know if I can use 2 pendrives in the same time.
You can only use one while using the xp1. The usb cable takes up one slot and you have to use a link cable to run music on both players because of this.

I ask you this question because I have an XDJ-RX2, but I don't understand how to connect the DDj-XP1 controller to the XDJ-RX2 !! Sorry for the late reply, if not looked into whether they're compatible. But if they are, the USB will go from the XP1 into the USB ports on the top left of the RX2. (Where you'd usually put USB sticks)

Can I ask if you can use the XP1 or SP1 for acapella samples separelty and on top of two decks playing (in a 2 x XDJ set up?) .. really just want the option to layer samples over the top of 2 decks without buying a third XDJ. Hope that makes sense!
Hi mate. Yeah this is possible only if you're running in HID mode with the XP1 plugged into Rekordbox. If you want to use something like that without a laptop the only solution would be to get something like the Pioneer DJS-1000 but it's very expensive.

@@sambourgein2837 honestly since this video I've upgraded myself, so my opinion has changed. I'd say none of them. I've now got the XDJ-XZ which I highly recommend. You get essentially 2 CDJ 3000's (or whatever they'll call them when they finally release) and a full DJM900 NXS2 in the middle for a fraction of the price. So I would recommend that now.

Do the hot cues work for each track independently? I tried setting hot cues in my tracks on the XDJ 1000 MK2 but when I select one of the banks it jumps songs

Cool video, I have the cdj 3000 and wasn't sure if this would be helpful or not, like the beat jump on the fly,
This is mostly useless for 3000's given the most of the buttons are there on 3000's
@@maarawoe Yea I like the idea of beat jumping without going into the screen but aside from that not much else would be an upgrade.

Yes, when you load in a new track it changes all the hot cues to the ones saved in that one track.
