Yes, people often use different (not necessarily always shorter) form of verbs, and this is why Farsi learners get confused when they learn a verb, but hear something else from native-speakers when they listen to them talking. Unfortunately, there is no fixed formula for the changes that occur when a verb is used in a conversational context. However, after a while, you will develop a linguistic intuition...
...and can fairly guess the conversational form by looking at the verb in the dictionary. In your examples, one of those verbs changes: “miguyam” changes to “migam”, and another verb actually is not normally used in conversations: “minusham”. Most native-speakers will just say, “mikhoram”, even when they mean “I drink”. This is something that is not usually mentioned in a Farsi textbook and that’s why I started this channel :-) Hope I answered your question, and thanks for watching :-))
Yes, "raftaar" means "behavior" in Farsi as well, and comes from "raftan" :-) There is no difference between "Mirid" and "Mirin" as I explained in the video. "Mirid" is just more bookish.
I assume it's just a metaphor, referring to the full moon. However, we have "Ghors-e Maah", which literally means "The Circle of the Moon", and refers to the full moon.
It all depends... in my online classes, I customize each class based one each student's natural mode/pace of learning, so I use different textbooks for different students. However, as a quick recommendation, "Persian for Foreigners: An Elementary Course" by Dr. Taqi Purnamdarian would be a great place to start. Hope this helps, and keep up the good work :-)

we have such word:raftar means behaviour in Azeri,I think it comes from raft yes?? and what is the difference between mirin or mirid? actually in russian they have such verbs that they say different but means the same thing :D I already confuse russian persian and english :))

Yes, technically the verb should come at the end, but in poetry this rule is not always observed :-) Both your translations are correct :-)
In Pakistan, in Urdu conversation, we reverse the words to 'Aamd o raft' meaning coming and going

Raftar =behavior. Raftan =to go. In urdu raftar means speed. Mirin= you(formal) go. Mirand= they go

One of the effective ways will be watching Iranian movies with subtitles. You can also listen to radio shows or songs in Farsi.

miri = you go (singular informal) / mirin = you go (singular formal OR plural). Hope that helps :-)

Well in Persian infinitives ends usually in دن or تن. Like رفتن، آمدن۔
