Grey Whale Safari

Perhaps the most extraordinary wildlife encounter we've ever had interacting with 40-ton Grey Whales and their newborn calves. Grey whale mothers seek out human interaction for their naturally curious calves to have us scratch their heads and back in the designated Observation Area of San Ignacio Lagoon Sanctuary. Not to be missed as this behavior has become a regular occurrence only a few months each year in San Ignacio Lagoon.
