Been waiting for this and I'm going to do something unthinkable; I'm going to defend the Berserker class and attempt to correct some misunderstandings: 1. Berserkers don't actually start battles berserked, they are just uncontrollable. What this means you can equip the "Berserk" ability and it DOES noticeably increase your damage output. 2. One often overlooked benefit Berserkers have is that they are immune to surprisingly many status effects. 3. Whining about Berserkers being unable to do anythink but attack is also somewhat pointless. I mean being able to use occasional potions would be nice but 99,9% of time you would attack anyway as Berserker is the most straightforward melee class. 4. Want to see some early game brutality? Master Berserker's "Berserk" and Knight's "Two-handed" abilities and equip them on Freelancer. This results in damage numbers in thousands for about 300 AP which is more than enough to mercilessly slaughter almost anything in world 1 and 2. That said Berserker IS a low tier job in FFV and very monotomous to "play" as but it is far from worthless and I for one would rather have Berserker in my party than a Dragoon or a Bard. Also I have to say, ANYONE who has done Berserker only challenge and got past Sandworm deserves my respects.
@nesterus83 berserk monk is a good idea too as ya got Counter, but it is a slow, frustrating class. Your Freelancer thing has a point if you master monk and thief first for that extra speed and HP. It was funny reading someone use an infinite Mimic strategy with dualcast with bahamut and curaga 🤣 for 4 mimes. Never would've imagined that since it's free after the hard cast. I know quick with spellblade flare/break is insane too.
Well the madlad actually did it. I was sure this wasn't even possible. Though it looks like you took too angry to die to its most logical extreme in a FF game. At least Krile looks adorable in her cat pajamas. I'll never forget all that time you sacrificed out of your lifespan just for our entertainment. Without the boosters, I don't think my sanity would last and I would use Action Replay codes to not have a mental breakdown after 120 hours of grinding and RNG.

So those physically resistant bosses are in more danger than we'd expect. Oh man, foreshadowing with the Thief Knife, I'm excited! I know a thing that's usually pointless but and am hoping it happens. Aww, even with 4 Berserkers you didn't need the second Titan's Axe you can steal from TwinTania. Way to go!
I'm fond of giving Berserkers EqBow or EqWhip. They get a bit of a speed boost* from the ability and doubled bow damage is pretty comfortable when they aren't missing. And while it's not explicitly _good,_ it's _fun_ to put EqAxes on Blue Mages or Geomancers to give them straightforward damage. (And beefy Gaia Hammer quakes) *Berserkers have some serious speed quirks. I genuinely think there is something wrong with their ATB calculation in the SNES and GBA games. But hey, they sometimes instantly attack after being revived. Pure distilled *violence.* Thank you for the video!
There is a way to beat omniscient with berserkers. It's bad though. Air Knife and Mage Masher. Air Knife at high enough levels with the right equipment can possibly inflict over 7500 damage per hit, and it hits twice. You need an air knife on a VERY stacked berserker at or near max level, and a mage masher on the other, similarly stacked. Mage masher will deal about 1800-200 damage at high levels with enough equipment to boost it, and if it inflicts silence long enough for the second berserker to hit twice for 7500+ damage on each hit. This will just barely do enough damage to kill him in that ONE turn, but you'll need to reset the game if it doesn't work, since the RNG for the battle is seeded when it begins and reset doesn't change it.
@@gregorymaxon6507 hahaha I'm so glad you commented here, I came to this video specifically to look for your comment after seeing your berserker comment on the dragoon video

You never change jobs ever. Your power comes entirely from using an swapping out equipment for its effects.
One caveat: You can't break rods, it trivializes some sections and ruins the challenge.
@@veghesther3204 no, they wouldn't.
The batman method is real, and I've done it.
You keep EVERY semi-useful weapon and learn about enemy/boss weaknesses and change out weapons as needed.
Since you can equip ANYTHING, you can do anything your equipment allows you to do.
You beat omniscient by getting 2 reflect rings, mage masher, and ancient sword.
You silence with Mage Masher and activate Old with the ancient sword and his regen becomes useless and he'll kill himself with his own spells.
@@veghesther3204 Ancient Blade can be found in Ronka Ruins.
Getting 2 reflect rings isn't hard. You can farm them next to Zeza's sub and just go rest there when you get hurt. It just takes time.
You attack Omniscient with the Mage Masher, and instantly queue an attack with the Ancient Blade on your second character.
It has about an 11% chance of both attacks succeeding and applying the status effect. After that, you can just walk away and he'll kill himself in about 10-15 minutes.
Oh nooooo
OH YEAH
How are you going to do mine when the time comes? By the time you unlock it the game is almost over.
Also will you be doing the advanced jobs too
Freelancer until Mime. Theres no advance jobs in the pixel remaster so I'm not going to do them.
YES!
I've been waiting for this one. I had a FJF that was this and it was miserable.
Never accept Berserker Risk Lmao. My first fiesta I got Berserker from the Water Crystal.
you poor soul. SNES version at least has gaia hammers being useful in it due to thronlet at least.
You ever see the solo berserker vs Neo Exdeath run on here though? Done on SNES version of course.
Question who won the closest to breaked rods from the last video, I'm saying this at the start of the video
I looked at a few playthroughs of this, and I know it isn't possible after a certain point because of SandWyrm, but I'm curious how you supposedly get around it.
