Well i am 6.5 Feet Tall and i want to ride this bike also over bigger distances so this was in my eyes the only solution. Ofcourse i know it would look better with drag bars but the ape hangers are 1000 times confortabler for a big person like me. Anyway i like it also this way so for me its the right way. Echt Hammer Umbau! Habe auch vor eine Honda VT 600 auf Bobber umzubauen.
Wie ich in den Kommentaren lesen konnte, bist du aus der Schweiz. Könntest du mir vielleicht sagen woher du die Teile hast die du für den Umbau benötigt hast und mit welcher Erlaubnis man den Rahmen so kürzen kann?

+Eduard Gisler Es handelt sich dabei um Flüssig Gummi ( Plastidip)
Das Zeug ist extrem widerstandsfähig allerdings nur in mehreren Schichten. Jede Schicht muss vollständig trocknen. Ich habe eine 1.8 Düse benutzt.

+Jan nik Hallo ja es ist die Originale Auspuff anlage es ist ein 2 Zylinder 600ccm Doppelvergaser mit 4 Zündkerzen alleine das bringt schon guten sound der Auspuff hatte 20 Jahre zeit ordentlich auszubrennen sonst wurde nichts gemacht. Lg

+xNOFEARx58 Ich bin exakt 195 gross auf dem Video am Schluss siehst du also genau wie du darauf aussehen würdest. Die Maschine ist Gross , Grosser Luft und Wassergekühlter 2 Zylinder ausserdem ist die Maschine 2 Meter 30 Lang. Mit dem Ape Hanger ist es sehr bequem meiner Meinung Nach.

Vielen Dank es handelt sich dabei um Flüssig Gummi der bei entsprechend viel Schichten eine extreme Stabilität erreicht. Ichs sags mal so der reifen wurde nach dem Lackieren noch 2 mal aufgezogen mit der Maschine jeder der schonmal einen Reifen aufgezogen hat (vor allem das abdrücken vom Felgenhorn) weiss wie belastend das für die Seitenwand ist. Problemlos überstanden lg

Über die Weißwand Pirellis kann man streiten aber an sich hast du nen krassen Umbau geschafft mit wirklich viel Liebe zum Detail 💪💪
Nur wer selbst umbaut weiß, was da hinter steckt! Ich bin gerade in den letzten Schritten, dass mein 1. VT Umbau zur 21er darf und dann hopp ab auf den Asphalt. Vll sieht man sich ja ✌️ Dlzg

+Louis Seibert Ich wohne in der Schweiz es gibt kein Gesetz welches vorschreibt vorne oder hinten Fender haben zu müssen. Jedoch müssen sich bewegende Teile abgedeckt sein also auch das Rad mit eine ganz Kurzen Fender gibt sich der tüf meistens zufrieden kommt auf den Kanton bzw das Bundesland drauf an

As long as you keep them inside a garage or anithing where they are protected against water or snow they are nice bikes they cost nothing and are perfect to costumize. If you care about them they will least you for years without problems if you treat them like shit you will have a pece of shit on two wheels after a while .

I bought a 93 shadow vt600 as my first bike. I found it to be a great bike to get started on. It ain't too heavy, and it ain't too strong to learn on; out does have enough kick to continue riding. I find that I sometimes wish I had one more gear in the box, not for the additional speed, but rather for comfort at speed. A 42 tooth sprocket on the rear was a positive mod. It was also a fun and simple bobber build. It is a great ride as a chopped down, no nonsense, no extras kind of ride. Turns a lot of heads. It was a good bike to learn how to work on a bike as well.
If I wanted a windshield and radio, I'd be in the truck!

Super geiler Umbau. Das hast du perfekt gemacht. Kannst du mir sagen wo du das Sattel Kit in der Schweiz mit DTC bestellt hast?
MFK ohne irgendwelche Probleme bewältigt?
Hast du einen Silvertail Auspuff schon in Betracht gezogen.
Ich finde zwar meine VT600 klingt mit dem selben Auspuff den du hast auch scho recht gut.

Der Auspuff ist original hatte aber viele Jahre zeit um schön auszubrennen ich mag den sound. Silvertail wirkt auf mich zu abgespaced ich mag die Oldschool Optik der Originalen Töpfe.
Schau mal auf der Seite von Crazy Riders interlaken vorbei da findest du alles was du brauchst.

Well as you can see the tank had some extreme deep dents ( you can see it if you look close in the video). I could not find any spare tank in Switzerland so i decided to cut it repair the dents and weld it back together.
