If there is a bounty on you do you let your team know to somehow defend you and not disappear from view?! I think there should be such a reward as well, for the team of the bounty. Like, the one that kills him gets MC or the team that defends him gets some MC (like 10 MC each) if the bounty is alive at the end and the player confirms they defended him. Otherwise, no MC for them. This will incentivise for a protect the VIP play style Or at least insta-lose the game when the bounty dies
Insta-lose is confusing. They should instead be rewarded if they keep vip alive. For an online game everything is about timed events. Limited time rewards.

The side torso overheat is very annoying. When the torso is destroyed the heat units of components in that torso are also removed. They shouldn't magically and instantly transfer to the rest of the mech.
It's shocking that they allow the mechanic where losing your heatsinks dump the heat back into you. That's not how any of that works, the very definiton of "heat sink" is a mass that will absorb and contain extra heat. If you dump the sink, the heat doesnn't magically just go back to where it was, it stays in the sink. It's literally what the word "sink" means lol. Noun: a body or process that acts as a storage device or disposal mechanism: such as 'heat sink' - as per Merriam-Webster. Many advanced metal cutting processes depend on the chips being made to carry the heat away from the tooling, it's a real process lol.
Correct me if I am wrong, but heat sink not only contain extra heat, but dissipate it to enviroment due to it's large contact area (or other means). If incoming temperature volume exceeds sinks capacity, temperature growth is still reduced by sinks dissipation rate. If you cut off the heat sink in this scenario you will get a large temperature growth spike. It is, surely, not a "heatsinks dump the heat back into you", but still an overall temperature increase. This effect would be less noticeable in airless conditions, cause heat sinks dissipate a lot less heat to "enviroment" (they have less means to do heat transfer, literally radiation only).
@@mamontoboy89 SSo in technical terms, no a heat sink does not have a function to dissipate heat, that is the job of a radiator or heat exchanger. In practice, most heat sinks have radiating surfaces built in and function as both. A heat sink is a volume that contains heat energy, removing that volume simply means that system requires less heat energy to experience a similar rise in temperature. In this instance, we ARE getting the effect of the heat energy remaining in the system and causing that massive spike, as opposed to seeing a temperature increase due to just having less sinking available. Removing volume from the system should not cause the rest of the system to have a massive jump in heat like it does, the system is already soaked with heat and it should only go down, not feed back into itself and cook you. It's a math error that the game takes teh total amount of heat and recalculates it across the available sinking capabilities, causing a spike in temperature. i assume there is no mechanic to account for the fact that the sinks "contain" heat energy, they are just number added to the total capacity.
Man, this bounty thing is the most idiotic I have heard in a while. You shouldn't be required to justkill the streamer, you should also do that in a match that you win. Otherwise people are just gonna play badly and suicide on you and then pretty much cause a loss of their team. That shouldn't warrant for a reward, actually quite the opposite. There should be way stricter rules for the bounty, for example you should be required to kill the streamer, the match should be a victory and you should be at least top damage of all players in the game. By the way I love this mech. I tried the quad ppc build as soon as they increased the gh limit for ppcs to 3 in the patch. Now the awesome just need some rescaling.
Tanking to the edge hehe some of this overmotivated bounty hunters maybe bite in thire kyboards. xD Can you build it with a bigger targetcomputer, more heatsinks an 4 snubnoose ppc? a flamer in the head, a ams a bit more leg-armor you can brawl like a boss with it i am sure.

He said 3 heavy ppcs mate and 3x 15 = 45. You can't fire 4 w/o ghost heat. So 40 damage per salvo / 5 seconds cooldown = 8 dps vs 45 damage per salvo / 6 second cooldown = 7.5 dps Much more heat efficient too. This is a good call.
