Rather than be literally insulted by the dealer, he decided to sell it to me for the same amount they offered for trading it in. He knew it was worth more, but I needed something I could take on gravel and backwoods. I have a new Nissan Murano that I love but off road capable - it is not. LOL

My 1999 Forest Green 4 Runner still rides like new with 117,258 miles to date. Got me through 6 feet of NYC snow and up-state rocky roads and salt. Moved to Florida 3 years ago after retiring and it only gets moved twice a week for grocery shopping mostly. Still accelerates faster than most luxury cars on the street today.
