I always thought Abengane was underutilized and to be a part of a huge portion of Chrollo's story it seemed so weird to have his story resolved off-panel and forgotten. Then again it happens so much... that's Togashi 😅🤷🏾♂
@@asyongaksaya7425 His ritual, nen ability, and cloak seems referential of various African spiritualities. His manga depiction is also reminiscent of old school illustrations of black people

I can’t see Abengane joining the Phantom Troupe ever. His disposition and goals are very different from the PT. I think Chrollo mentioned that no one in the PT can be bought by the mafia (at least true members can’t)
I think Chrollo ultimately took his Nen ability. So he will return when hisoka fights him on the black whale and he will try to remove the cursed post mortem Nen that’s flowing in the bungee gum Nen that is holding up Hisoka’s body together currently.
While the idea is nice, there's a few things to consider that are very important. 1. Chrollo most likely wouldn't be able to use exorcize mid-combat due to the prep involved. 2. Abengane is confirmed to be a master of his Nen Affinity and is also one of the very few Nen Exorcists in the world. If Chrollo were to have this ability, would he be able to even use it at it's full potential? 3. Following up on the second point. If Chrollo is able to utilize it's potential, would he really want to have the Nen Beast around his body for prolonged periods of time? It's more likely that the Troupe would have Abengane on speed dial than to take the man's ability with the amount of complications that come along with it.
I think Abengane was just an associate to the troupe only this one time rid the nen curse from Chrollo. When we saw him left with Hisoka meet up with the troupe help them Chrollo he can reuse his nen again. Abengane his character when leaving from greed island his main goal and his objective to make big money off his exorcism. I am sure troupe paid off Abengane really with him removing Chrollo nen curse.
It's been 10 years since I watched both 1999 and 2011 versions of the anime and recently I started rewatching some big events to refresh my memory! I loved it so much back then and still looking forward for the return of the anime. My question is did we see in the anime Abengane exorcising Chrollo? Or is it mentioned only in mangas? I tried finding footage of that but I havent seen any...
My guess is that the nen beast could be killed by other nen users, not Abengane, to fully exorcise the curse. The stronger the curse, the stronger the beast, the harder it is to kill. The phantom troupe would be able to kill the beast that cleansed Chrollo's curse.
How trippy would that be if the Nen beasts the Abengane conjures, were to be from the dark continent itself and he is essentially transporting dark continent beasts to help him?
Chrollo stealing Abengane's nen skill is a moot discussion. He wouldn't have been able to do so because his nen was locked. Doing it after the exorcism is another matter.
I wonder what happen to Abengane after remove the chain nen ability of kurapika in Chrollo to avoid using nen. I think his ability was steal by chrollo after exorcist the kurapika nen ability to chrollo. Chrollo might be steal Abengane exorcist ability after he exorcist the kurapika chain nen ability in Chrollo because Abengane exorcist nen ability is rare in HxH, chrollo must interest in this ability. He not appeared anymore in anime series after greed island arc.
I could be wrong, in fact i doubt it, but anyone think its possible abengane couldve helped neon get her nen back? Thats of course if its possible, that chrollos skill hunter can act as a curse too
If chrollo steal his ability kurapika did the same thing to chrollo then how he’s gonna remove it ofc need to use nen but if he use it he will die that’s it

Abengene was kool character, plus he was blk we don’t get many in the series lol 😅
His nen best that ate the bomb looks like Toji Zen’in Curse spirit
He is probably a Filipino his nen ability look like bulul or anito.. igorot deities

I want to see more of Kalluto. I still remember being so intrigued when Kalluto joined the Troupe and was ofc immediately able to help find Abengane.

He didn't join. He is not with the troupe in the black whale
I remember the first time I saw Toji in jujutsu, he reminded me of him for sure... Gege love to reference togashi in every part of of his work.
Lol he doesn’t has a perm if he is black that’s just his natural hair

Nah. You can't exercise nen while fighting someone. Plus, I don't think chrollo would want a big monster on him after the fact.

He is too smart to be part of the gang.

He's not apart of the troupe but I would like to see him reappear soon hopefully

I think he was a static character and will never reappear
Kurapika would most likely lift the judgement chain nen beast from Abengane as soon as he felt it being exorcised from Chrollo.

Im wondering if abengane could save gon when he made his condition to use his life force to kill pitou?
He couldn't, considering how powerful the condition Gon was in
Family 💪🏾💙

0:23 red or green dot I see green
Say it with me
AH-BEEN-GAHN-AY
Thank you made the the whole video cringe
Why it had to be done by Hisoka? Why not the members ask for exorcism?
I could be wrong, in fact i doubt it, but anyone think its possible abengane couldve helped neon get her nen back? Thats of course if its possible, that chrollos skill hunter can act as a curse too
“A permed hairstyle” ??? Excuse me
In Japan, this hairstyle seems to be called "punch perm"
It is a tightly permed short hairstyle.
If chrollo steal his ability kurapika did the same thing to chrollo then how he’s gonna remove it ofc need to use nen but if he use it he will die that’s it
The real question I wanna know is how did chrollo escape hisoka after getting his nen back 🤣
I think Abengane got deported.
They would have forced him to join the phantom troupe, nevertheless once he cured chrollo he was useful for nothing...so they let him alone.
abengane is dead toji has his worm
His hair isn't a perm it's natural, that's what it would look like if he was YT 😂
he will be a big part of the dark continent
Imo abengane is dead af.
