Morel has a lot of experience and in hxh it isn't always the strongest/most powerful who wins. Which can be true in real life. Morel's experience is often overlooked because the ants are so powerful. But that's the point. Ultimately the ants were defeated because the humans were more experienced and had nukes.
Morel is a top player for sure. I first believed his nen ability was a bit "meh..." but he definitly proved it's usefullness and versatility and intelligence many times. Tho it requieres to always have his pipe, which is not practical... But he is clearly not enough for a body guard. I'd say Pufu is the weakest of the 3 and he didn't do that much against him (Tho he was pretty weak as he said because he fought no stop for several days!).
I think pouf is plenty strong, he survived getting wacked by meruems tail post absorbing that nen users power, so his attack was stronger than the one that hit Pitou, Killian had to go pretty much all out against a fragment of Pouf, that had already given most of his power to Meruems to revive him, Pouf seems "weaker" because he wasn't really arranged by the writer to truly fight anyone relevant, but I'd say he's plenty strong if his power was able to help revive the king from being in that condition post the explosion to alot more powerful than his previous self. The royal guard is equal, they simply all specialize in different areas of ability.

I theorized that Morel must've been a Nen Baby and he was A)Either born with extremely small eyes (some dominant and/or recessive trait) B) One of the parents was a seer and *deliberately* designed Morel' s sunglasses from the womb. 😎 I firmly believe that Morel would have been a better Chairman than Netero, Ging, Cheadle, and Pariston Hill combined.
Even Netero while talking about Pitou said that she is most likely stronger than him. And we know how has the fight between King and Netero ended. None of the fighters there could match up to Royal Guard. Gon had to sacrifice EveryFuckingThing to overwhelm Pitou. (Although Pitou was afraid that he was a threat to a king in that state). Let's be honest. Even Hisoka would have a thought time aganist Royal Guard. Are we implying that Morel is as Strong as Hisoka? Like really? Look at what has happened when Phantom Troupe went for ants. Feitan was actually having a lot of trouble with Squad Commander. And Squad Commanders are nowhere near close to RG.
No, he cant touch the royal guard, the entire chimera ant arc was a bunch of running and hiding by the protagonists, indirect cheap fighting, some havk abilities to pull of wins for the good guys, Morel couldn't even put up a direct win vs the tier of ants below the royal guard
Aye honestly I feel like everybody who was involved in the chimera ant battle is going to be awarded 1 star if not 2 stars, depending on what they did. Morel is no doubt getting 2 stars since he was already 2 star level, making him 3 star. But it’d be reallllyyy cool if Killua and Gon get 2 stars as well man that’d be insane. Or at least Gon considering Gon is the ONLY person who killed one of the chimera ants with his OWN hands. Realistically tho, if those 2 are getting any stars, it’ll only be 1.
When Netero hand picks/head hunts people for a specific duty you know it means they’re beyond capable individuals

Gons to me doesn't count, he traded beyond his life to attain power he shouldn't have had til decades later, so I don't consider that Gon
