Hey guys, I'm starting a new series that hopefully won't last too long. I'll be playing Tropico 4, and we'll be trying to build a Caribbean socialist state.
It's funny how even when you choose socialism in this game you still bascially operate within a a market economy. I've created near perfect communism in this game lots of houses, lots of good houses free healthcare no rent, the trick is to take care of the money though
@@Jimothy-723 imo, a society like this, built by many many years of trying and many success and failure ( some law for examples come from rome empire, just a little touched, to make you understand how old the society like this, with taxes and stuff is, but it goes more back) and built around money, so market system will always exists. You can have statism ( I don’t know if is the right word in English) where the state decide where the market must go, such china, Soviet Union, North Korea etch etch ( but we - human - are not made for this, just in some rare cases). Why I love communism is for this, trying to imagine a new reality, with good purpose, but sadly thanks to the contexts of the countries were communism take part and all the pressure from some countries that don’t see communism well, communism is over a bad shape. And for me, communism is just like democracy, an utopia. ( in fact our democracy is not the real form of democracy, since is an utopia). Howerer brothers, stay aware nowadays, stay aware on what shape our govs will take.

so basicaly in your mind perfect comunism is the same thing as perfect capitalism...
