The lack of protection from moisture as you pray down the windows and film is concerning. Water will dry out plastics and collect in creases. I'm not sure what solution you are using, but that can leave a film, even if you wipe it down after. The worst part is the water going into all the controls on the door, such as the power switches. You should take the time to cover these areas as best possible and take better care of your customers' vehicles. This job is harder than it looks, but at the rate you get through those windows, it looks like you can do a car in under an hour. I hope you charge accordingly and don't rush through Installs and charge customers for several hours if work that doesn't happen. Very informative video, thanks.

Well the outside of the window is higher than the inside so toss that film here we go again new piece of film it's 4" long I try to tuck it, it becomes a wrinkled mess.I cut this mess hoping not to tear it up into the exposed window. I lucked out for got it tucked in no wrinkles no bubbles .wish I would have seen your video first. Thanks again.

  • @PUBGEEZY

Little tip for 2 stage tinting. Never let your edges curl out. They should curl into the edge tuck. Otherwise youre bound to grab contaminates when you pull the cap sheet. This will also keep your film from creasing at the tuck point and having to shrink the crease. Another thing is when you tuck the bottom of the film as you peel your liner do it fast and quickly grab the center bottom of the film. It'll make each side fall to the window at an angle not touching any panel or gasket. Then you can tuck each side individually without pulling or pushing the film and possible creasing it!

If it's old and bubbled, a 100% solution is to replace it. If the bubbled spots still have some adhesive, you can try getting a new razor blade and barely nick the middle of bubbles (and press), see if it continues to stay down, though may have hairline cut seen through tint, it might be totally unnoticeable.

Great video just subscribed I have tinted a few vehicles for my father in law but nowhere near this good using tinted was crinkled all I had lol with decent results. Was wondering do you use a portable sprayer bottle with soap and water and what soap to water ratio do you recommend?
