Dick killing The Joker made me feel like 'YES FINALLY!' Someone finally snapped over what The Joker has done and then Batman brought him back to life was just awful. I wanted The Joker to finally pay for what he has done especially to Jason Todd. But I kind of understand why Batman did it. Dick would have never been able to live with himself. I truly believe it would have broken him and that would hurt more.
I feel like Batman would allow Joker to die under any other circumstance except through someone he knows that is good killing him. The reason he does this for Red Hood Jason.

The whole Joker thing is bizarre. At what point are Batman and the Bat Family responsible for the Jokers’ evil. So many chances to eliminate him and they don’t. Time after time he escapes the horribly staffed Arkham Asylum and people are maimed, raped, robbed, and killed. Of course, in the real world DC makes money from the character so he’ll never die. In the story world, I cannot take a life philosophy is getting old. Most times I agree. As Sgt.York said “ War is killin’ and the Bible is against killin’.” The Joker is demonic, he is an exception!

Batman needs to apply the "Just because I won't kill you, doesn't mean I have to save you" line. Honestly I hate that Bruce gave CPR to Joker and resuscitated him. When I first heard about Dick killing Joker, I was completely shocked that DC actually killed Joker and it was Dick who did it because he was angry for his brothers and then of course they make Batman resuscitate Joker. Ugh! Joker should have just stayed dead.
I hate that even Red Hood couldn't kill Joker. At this rate I feel like Batman has more blood on his hands by reviving Joker than by letting him stay dead. Everyone would've been so much happier and safer in Gotham.
But I get why Joker will not die. He is Batman's nemesis after all.

Killing is still killing.... and these guys have to "defend themselves" on a nightly basis against everyone they fight. "Justifiable homicide" is still homicide. You can do all the mental gymnastics you want, but fact of the matter is that sometimes these heroes kill, including Batman... I can rattle off several instances of Batman killing. It's the biggest misconception of comics that "Batman doesn't kill"... and it's always spread by cartoon fans that have never read a comic.

I agree with every death on this list they all count as Nightwing kills, except for the Blockbuster death, that does count as a death, but that doesn’t count as a Nightwing kill whatsoever, because Nightwing wasn’t the one that killed him, Tarantula kills him, so I’ll say it again that doesn’t count as a Nightwing kill, but it does count as a Tarantula kill.
