I like to think it's not that Alastor has some absence of sexual feelings, it's just that would be those feelings has been wholly concentrated into sadism and lust for power. The suffering of others and having control over them is "sex" to him.
It makes sense that he died like that also validates his power..for if you die a tragic death it simply makes you stronger. So just for my mindset, I’ll reiterate, he he was dancing like a star, 💫 Gene Kelly style(died from a stroke, no surprise there, as you can’t floor it for long without engine trouble and I know other less appreciated who fell to an equal fate.) and found a female dancing partner who could keep up [ie. Mimzy], yet she was the rarest sort of serial killer, being female, probably a genius, 180 IQ at least and wasn’t reared with the understanding that could handle such, and so, she killed him.
