Exploring Nil Diya Pokuna: The Underwater Pond of Ella
An enchanting underwater pond hidden deep within a mountain cave in Karandagolla, Ella. This mystical pond, believed to have been built by King Ravana, lies 80 meters beneath the surface, surrounded by awe-inspiring rock formations and ancient legends. We visited this incredible site on June 17th, 2024, guided by the lovely Harshana, whose expertise and kindness made the experience even more special. It was a superb experience that you won't want to miss!
