I like the concept but have issues with quality control .. I have purchased three cans, two 2.5 gal and one 3 gal, one of the 2.5 gal and the 3 gal both leaked on the bottom at the seal .. This is extremely disappointing when I purchase three cans and two of them leak without ever being used .. Customer service has been great up to this point as they replaced the 2.5 very quick .. I have contacted them concerning the 3 gal today and am waiting for a response .. So a word to the wise, fill and test them immediately upon receiving or you may have a very disappointing trip when your fuel supply is leaking out all over the ground ..
Yes, I realize the video is 4 years old. That being said...rotopax is outrageously expensive. $66 for a 2 gallon can and $33 for a mount. For that much I think I'll keep using the one gallon and or 5 gallon cans I've had for years.
Hello ROTAXD, thank you for your feedback. They are more expensive than a traditional gas can, but the stack-ability and lock-ability are key features in which many users find value. Thanks for watching! - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
Thank you for your inquiry Phil. The Spare Tire mount www.chapmoto.com/rotopax-rtpx-spare-tire-mount-049-451-3020 will attach to the lug nuts of your wheel. You will then attach a PackMount www.chapmoto.com/rotopax-standard-pack-mount-049-451-3000 to the stand off of the spare tire mount. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team
Recently picked up an ACE tire carrier that has two mounts for these. I planned on buying these. Well, I was sold up until I saw the POS nozzles. I've had 4 gas cans that had those exact nozzles fail/break. No thanks. I'll stick to the non-street legal steel jerry cans with donkey d**ks.

Those spouts....are the worst design ever made for a gas can, you spill more gas than you actually get into the jeep. Thanks California!

Hi River's Dad, sorry to hear about the leaking containers. Have you talked to Rotopax about it?
