Thanks A.P. for another great video. I picked the International 9900i as my favorite truck again. Currently, I like trucks that have the classic style with the long hoods, twin stacks, external air breathers, and all of the chrome. Therefore, the 9900i fits it very well. I really like the interior and exterior designs. I especially like the wooden dashboard and the large analogue dials. In the past, I would not have considered driving a truck without a digital speedometer, but this truck's dials are easy to read with big numbers, so no problems. In addition, the 9900i is the newest classic truck to be added to the game, so the quality of the interior and exterior designs and textures match the current quality of the latest trucks and DLC. Finally, I really like the sound of the engine and the air breathers for the 9900i. Out of all of the trucks in ATS, I think it has the best default engine sound. The only thing missing with the 9900i is an onboard GPS, but this can be added if you have the Cabin Accessories DLC. I would like to add that I have also driven the new Western Star 5700XE. I just completed a 10,000+ mile test drive and I really like this truck too. On one hand, it looks like a classic truck with the chrome, the big grill, dual-pane windows and the longer hood, but at the same time it is also an aerodynamically styled truck with the dropped hood, roof and side fairings, and the curves in the exterior design. The interior was really well done with the wooden cabinets along with the wooden dashboard. Even though I still have the 9900i as my favorite truck, I am considering the 5700XE as one of my top five favorite trucks in ATS. To A.P., Please don't worry about mixing up the interiors of the 9900i and 5700XE. It has happened to me too when driving them. When looking in the forward view, they feel very much the same, especially their dashboards. My Current Top Five ATS Trucks: 1. International 9900i 2. Freightliner Cascadia (Still my favorite modern truck) 3. Western Star 5700XE 4. International LT 5. Peterbilt 389 (low roof sleeper version)
In my opinion when I get back into ATS, I might go for the Western Star 57X because of 3 factors. Aesthetics. Sound (might replace w/ a Mod) and overall just because it looks cool to me. This video kind of helped with my decision on it so cheers.
Make the comparison but Driving and comparing the interiors of Trucks just to hear how sound each truck compared to hear what truck its most confortable to drive with more silent sound.
all engines in ats are the same. Fore ex. X15 could be 1850 lbs: 500 hp, 525hp, 565hp all of them have the same torque curve = the same power. As 1650 and 2050, they have same torque curve too
The horsepower rating doesn't really matter from what i see. The Cat C15 625hp and Cummins X15 600hp literally has the same torque which is matters more than horsepower for heavy hauls.

I'm surprised that Lonestar doesn't get much popularity. For me, it's the perfect mix between old school look and modern interior. Best look to me is w900 but i dont like the dashboard, best interior is cascadia but the truck is ugly. Lonestar got everything!
Since I got new PC a couple of months ago I am starting fresh with ATS/ETS2. I usually stick with either Cascadia or WS, but I've been driving the T680 and absolutely love it.
It needs a correction, bro. You'd said that the VNL was only available in 4x2 and 6xs chassis, while the actual game had 4x2 chassis (day cab only), 6xs, and 8x4 chassis (day cab and sleeper)

The only thing i don't like about the Western Star 57X is the 12 speed transmission, i hope we get an 18 speed transmission update in the near future.

I don't think top speed matters either as most trucks will be able to go up to 75 MPH thing that at least I do not pass more than that speed
while this is the case, the 625 does have a higher top speed. I got 103 with the 600 and 108 with the 625 using the 7 speed on I-2 at McAllen.
The Peterbilt 389 is my favorite truck, but goddamn it has such a weak Startup and Engine sound.
