I was diagnosed in Nov22, right side IDC (positive 1 of 2 lymph nodes & Left side DCIS (negative 2 of 2), double mastectomy w/breast reconstruction, 4 chemo & 25 radiation. I’m on zoladex (every 28 days, 5 years & lesterolze 7 years), never thought it would be me. I’m a former athlete, lived a healthy lifestyle, exercised but I hit the lottery. I had mild symptoms from the chemo (joint & muscle aches only) didn’t burn from the radiation (nurse said it was a low dosage). Now I’ve changed my lifestyle completely, moved from plastic to glass, better natural cleaning products, and more self care. I’m scheduled for a lymphatic drainage massage, I’m looking forward to it. Thank for your tips!!

Thank you for sharing your story! I’m glad you’re using your journey to make some changes. Sometimes that’s the reminder we need to start taking care of ourselves better. I hope your lymphatic drainage massage goes well!

Hi Marina. Thank you soo much for providing home. I start my first treatment next Friday….. what sre your thoughts on receiving IV drips of high dosage of Vitamin C before or after chemo treatment? My oncologist said I can if I choose to.

Hi! I don’t know about doing that myself. I’ve heard good things as far as helping your immune system. If it’s an option, I would do it.

I found a good Dr. William Li who is an internist who specializes in looking at how to support the immune system during Chemo. The book is Eat to beat disease. Why would a bad reaction to anesthesia result in my oncologist recommending Behavior Health. This has caused me emotional pain. Any advice. Love you and will let Princess Kate about you. DORO

Hi Dorothy, Dr. Li has great advice. I’ve watched some of his videos. I don’t know why they would recommend that. Can you change doctors? I hope you’re well.

Hi Marina, just wondering what kind of candles you use. I would love to know of clean ways to make the home smell good without using chemicals. Thanks

Hi! I use candles occasionally. I prefer a diffuser essential oil when possible.
