Solitude... exactly. Hard to explain unless you’ve found yourself seemingly alone with the Canyon. We’ll be looking for our solitude again with 5 days below the rim this November. Our third trip and can’t wait to get beyond the corridor trails!
Awesome! Was at the GC last of October 2019, two nites Indian garden, two nites Bright Angel. Was on my bucket list for 30 years, I now hear the canyon calling me to come back. Would like to get on some of the less traveled trails this time. Great camera work.
Absolutely loved this. Found your video because I just uploaded my experience backpacking the GC in winter. Started at the bright angel, hiked down to granite rapids, and then out hermits rest !!
Just found your channel while searching for Grand Canyon trips. You shoot beautiful videos! Love the shot of the tree reflecting in the pool of water. I’m doing an 11 day GC trip in March out of the South Bass TH. Anxious to see part 2 of your When Desert Backpacking Goes Wrong. Tips on researching water sources and those to avoid will be helpful...
2 part question. Do you HAVE to have a permit for any of the area or just within certain boundaries? Also, what are was the start and finish of specific designated camping for backcountry?
The Grand Canyon is one of our favorite places to backpack! That and the Sierra Nevada. What’s your favorite place to backpack?
My favorite ever is Maui!
@@LiboltAdventures A good friend of ours is backpacking there right now! Its definitely on our to do list.
It may not be possible to recapitulate The Man Who Walked Through Time's journey, but thru-hiking Tonto is a must-do for me. I'm thinking Spring '24.
Hiked the other end of this from New Hance to Horseshoe Mesa and up Grandview in December. Amazing experience as always. Tonto Trail is where its at.
Beautiful hike. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Terrific report and footage. Please post more !

As soon as the Cottonwood Creek footage began (11:43), I felt immediate tranquility 😌. Love your footage/editing/visuals/sounds 🙏🏽.

This is exactly the path I've had planned to take for years now. Some day I'll get there.
Set yourself a date! I find that’s the best way to make trips like this happen.
Nice scenery loved the video
