The next two installments play almost exactly the same as this one, but quite a bit harder. Lolo 2 is moderately harder than this, but 3 jumps up the difficulty quite a bit further still. Harder still are the Japanese Famicom releases - Same graphics, same music, even the same passwords - but the difficulty curve ramps up a lot faster and they make all 3 of the US entries look like a cakewalk, lol
@@retronate Yeah if you can beat this one Lolo 2 might not give you a ton of trouble until about Floor 5 or so, where you start to run across the puzzles that are harder than anything in Lolo 1.
@@retronate I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle though! I've seen you beat harder games than this. Though maybe those games required more muscle memory and reflexes and less pondering over what boxes to push where. Lolo is my fav series on the NES by a long shot, with only Mega Man coming anywhere close and I'd love to see you cover them.
Initially, I was doubtful and skeptical about Adventures of Lolo. After watching your video, Adventures of Lolo looks really fun, enjoyable, and challenging. This is a game that everyone in the family can enjoy and play. I wish I owned this game as a kid. Thanks.
@@ashwinrebbapragada7626 very challenging but simple enough that you don’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of info to consider. Very family friendly. Probably a great kids game
These Lolo games have some of the best puzzles. I almost always learn a new strategy I never thought of when watching playthroughs. Any other puzzle games in the future - Solomon's Key, Fire n Ice, Puzznic, Kickle Cubicle, and Babel no Tao (Mystery Tower on Switch) are all very challenging.
I adore fire and ice. Need to spend some time on kickle cubicle but I’ve enjoyed the little bit I’ve played. I stink at Solomon’s Key. Gotta learn that one a bit better.
Played this at a cousin’s house when I was 10. This game ignited a life long love for this puzzle genre. Literally played King Rabbit today! Thanks for the video.
@@bowieinc my pleasure! This one is such a lovable puzzle game. They’re so great for a slower paced play. This one has enough to be challenging but not impossible. I hear the next two get way harder
Pink fellow is Gol. Skull is skull. Duh The slug is Snakey The robot is Rocky The green fellow who falls asleep is Leeper The grey creature who runs around is Alma Medusa is obvious. The pink fellow with knives is Don Medusa
your grey statues are medusa heads and the pink ones that act like the medusa heads are called don Medusa as they both paralize you before impaling you.
One of my favorite games ever. I set the intro to floor theme as my front door bell. Brings me such joy.
@@mgshadow45 it’s so cozy. No real timing based puzzles except a few. Mostly just letting you sit and process things. Can’t wait to tackle the next
I absolutely love puzzle games and this one provided a significant challenge for me. Very much looking forward to the next 2 installments.
