    Always love your videos! I’ve had a few of “those days”. I had to throw out a 6 lb. batch of cream because it separated 😭.You are so down to earth, I feel like I’m watching a friend. Keep on keeping it real!

      Oh NO! Sue - that is so hard! I actually worried that I was pouring too soon and this would separate on me, luckily it was fine, I'm not sure I could have handled another problem LOL. Thank you for your kind words - I really has started to feel like I am talking to friends! 💗

    I'm going back and watching a few older videos! Boy at the beginning of the video you looked so tired and like you'd lost your best friend. I felt awful for you! I have had many a day like this in the last 11 years! I know what it's like to have the world go haywire. A few months ago, I made a cream and I blended it up, walked away, came back to blend again and it had seperated. I thought it was just too warm and I hadn't blended enough. So, I blended a full 5 min. Came back and it's separated again. Found out I'd added honey quat instead of regular Manuka honey. The emulsifier I used didn't sync with the honey quat, lol! Follow the formula Jill!!! It's my formula!!! Ugh!
    Yeah it happens to everyone, but I had Cupuacu and Murmuru Butter in there and Camilla seed and hemp seed oil too! Expensive ingredients to waste! I had to remake as I had 2 orders I needed to get out! It was a crappy day. On top of that I was stressed and burnt dinner, stressing over that cream. I don't think I got to bed till after 2 am.
    I was glad to see you recovered and looked and sounded better the following day! The cream looked amazing!!

      Oh my Jill! What a day you were having😥! And that cream sounds so amazing! (I keep eyeing Camilla Seed oil...but it is pricey and do I reeeaaalllllyyyy need it? -maybe LOL)
      Thanks for watching and being awesome sweet friend! 💖💖💖

    Oh no!! Well I’m sure I would’ve wanted to cry. 😢 all the wasted product and then loads of cleaning 🧼
    I was a bit worried with your pots near the power points….you know steam/water and electricity ⚡️ just freak me out.
    I Love your down to earth attitude and you’re just so natural and happy. Thank you for sharing

    I use raw goat milk from my own goats when making creams and lotions. I use Phenonip for a preservative and I have never had any go bad. I do not use water though, I use all goatmilk and butters

    Thank you for helping us learn. May i ask What lavender do you use. I have such a hard time finding one

      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I like the lavender fragrance oil from Candle Science. If I don't use an essential oil, I believe that is the one I reach for the most! 🤗

      I get mine from Candle Science, but I have seen it other places. I'm very happy with Candle Science though so will stick with that one.

    it would have been nice to see how it looked b4 placing the lids on. Is it a thick cream like an emulsified bory butter

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry about that - clearly I was having a bad day LOL - it is thicker than a lotion for sure but not near as thick as a traditional body butter with no water. Hope that helps!

    Thank you so much for your videos. You are such a likable person! 😊 I don't know how you deal with the comments that are borderline rude. Lol! Anyway, I have a couple of questions about this, if you don't mind helping me out. 1) the goat milk powder - the recipe says that we can add 90 grams of goat milk & remove 90 grams of Aloe Vera juice. They also say that if using a powder, we should reconstitute it to proper drinking consistency first. You said that you just add the powder directly to your liquid ingredients. So I'm wondering if you keep the amount of water & Aloe Vera juice the same as listed in the recipe, or do you change the amount of liquid at all? Also, how did you determine how much power would equal the amount of reconstituted goat milk? 2)you added meadowfoam seed oil but that's not listed in the original recipe. Did you reduce the amount of macadamia nut oil to accommodate for this? Thanks again! ❤️

      Hi Cheryl! Thanks for your comment! I deal with negative comments by ignoring them mostly haha - I am very blessed that most of my comments have been very supportive and encouraging. Gosh you are asking a hard question LOL - I honestly don't remember about the GM Powder. I think I took the Caprabella Goat Milk Cream formula and used that to turn the Jen's Bodacious Cream into a GM cream. I liked that formula better but I wanted a GM cream. I think I used the % of powder from the one and added it to Jen's Cream. And looking at them side by side it looks like the Aloe Juice was reduced by 1% in the Jen's formula.
      As far as the oil, yes, I have switched my oils off and on thru the years - whatever I have in hand. I've basically stopped using macadamia nut oil as I try to be nut free and I don't have to buy that oil for just this one product. I keep it to luxury oils though like the meadowfoam - but I keep the % of liquid oils the same regardless of what oils or how many I use.
      I hope this helps! 🥰

      Because the original formula did not call for it and I felt no real need to add it. thanks
