- Hey Everyone.
Today we are continuing our work to polish up the Big Turbo TT. The car is driving again, which is a huge milestone, but we still have a ton we need to do before it's actually safe to drive. Today we are going to improve some aspects of the kit, fix a couple issues, and start turning the car up with a better tune.

Thank you for watching.
What a journey this has been for ALL OF US! Not only has this been super informative, your journey has supplied us with a creative and personalized take on this cars evolution; from the video editing, music, the complex narrative..all just adds up to great content you would see on a bigger network. We are lucky to have you on TH-cam bud.
Love being part of this journey. Brings me back to my process many years ago with my mk4 gti. Another quality installment in the series. Thanks Hunter.
Hunters videography is on point 👌
It’s crazy you don’t have more of a following, love the videos
Hey that means alot to me! Thank you
Let’s go Hunter. Glad you’re enjoying the build bud. I’ve loved watching it. Keep rocking bud🤘
Yeah the car has been a blast so far! Thank you for the support!
@@HunterDirectionno worries bud it’s been a blast watching the build.
Great job, it's all coming together enjoy the. Fruits of your labour. 😊
I’d like to see you add technical aspects to your tune modifications.
Just found your channel. I've got a 225 with a k04 23 xl hybrid and all the necessary bolt on mods, clutch and all. Saving up to install my rods/bearings. I always wanted to go the gt2871r route but it'll have to wait until I blow this turbo up 😂... I'm also debating on Motoza and e85. But I'll wait til the rods are actually in.
Cannot wait to see where you and Oliver take the TT. He also knows a thing or two about working in an apartment parking lot. Cheers, sir! -Lindsay
Another excellent instalment and great progress. Well done Hunter!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the support
Nice episode, as usual ! All the hoses on top of the engine, that’s a real spider web 😅
It definitely is a spider web. Ill clean it up once it's working well. At least now it's all super accessible.
Sweet video. Glad that is running healthy.
I’ve noticed you’re getting more muscular, keep up the good shit bro, car life makes you grow as a person, literally got down replacing my alternator in the barracks parking lot
Your car looks like an Easter egg with black fungus growing under it and you have unique methods I still love your videos.
Congratulations on the progress. Hard work paying off. Been there all year with my B5 S4. I'm not sure if you have a wideband AFR gauge but I would keep an eye on AFR throughout tuning. Some revisions could be a little too lean; requiring further adjustment. I'd hate for you to beat on the car and something happen to your engine after all of the work you've put in. Well done!
front intercooler: no matter how big the intercooler is if it overheats its purpose is thwarted. the front intercooler is sitting too close to the radiator blocking the airflow and consequently contributing to the radiator´s high temperature. the front intercooler is a mistake! solution: what you need is a side intercooler with a 3-gallon recipient. the water will sink the temperatures and prevent the metal from overheating too fast. make a video about it
Love the content, following along closely as I just picked up a mint condition '04 tt 225. Btw what headunit are you using? thanks!
Good video, really interesting. Good work on your part
Thank you!
Clean your windshield:) jk, its just a pet pee of mine. Not a fan of any dirt on my windshield. Amazing videos man
Yeah the car 100% needs a wash😆 It's been garaged so long it's filthy. Thank you for the support!
Cool videos. Was wanting to buy a TT that I can get big hp with a big turbo. With stock bottom end. Any suggestions on what's the best year without breaking the bank?
Thank you!
My car is at 22lbs with just the stock ko3 and it feels like it has 100mpg hp then stock, I could only imagine how a bigger turbo would feel at that power, must be awesome at only 15lbs.
Are you going to be adding more boost in the near future? I don't remember if you did your fuel pump yet? Does that ecu allow for a 2nd tune file like e85? If you can get the corn juice in that car DO IT! Good stuff man keep doing what your doing!
🤗
Hi, how you solwed issue with turbo and pipes coliding with each other? Also, how did you routed cooling and lube lines for turbo? Btw waste gate is also cooled, how did you connected it? Is there a video, that shows how it was done or i cant find it?
Do you ever get a baseline for how much power it makes? A guesstimate hp/torque?
How do you tune the car? Stock ecu or standalone? And if stand alone what kind
🤘🤘
Get anti lag for it. Instant boost
A true anti lag kit would be really interesting🤔 I'd go through turbos like crazy though haha
Wait. A fellow TT, BIG Turbo, PNW bro?
A k04 isn't a "big turbo", I hope its something actually big. I haven't watched the video yet.
*edit* I've watched the video now, great content! I hope you do well on youtube. This content is making me consider getting rid of my rsx type s and searching for a TT! Anyone wanna trade?
Nope! We swapped out the ko4 to something a bit more fun! Not a massive turbo but very well sized for the engine! Thank you for the support!
@@HunterDirection nice, glad to hear it! I remember researching getting a TT years ago, and everyone referred to a k04 as a “big turbo” I was like “how is a turbo the size of your fist considered “big” in this community” 😂 bravo for breaking out of the mold!
@@Superb_Owl80I've had vw,audi, and honda, acuras... If you got a type s just turbo it. And you'll be 500hp. And 500 way way more reliable than a vw/audi....
What year TT is this? I normally am not the biggest fan of TTs but yours looks great! Love the content as usual, I really hope you get more subs and views soon :)
Hey thank you I really appreciate that! It is a 2002!
