@@carinamelendrez yeah I grinded that fight for hours on end and after 2 or 2 and a half weeks I won but I did use sea tea and that really helped
It doesn't matter how many times I listen to this soundtrack, I still get emotional whenever I hear it. This game has made such an impact on me, I'm so grateful to have someone like Toby.

I remembered when I played it and get to the fight with Asriel, I already knew that I was going to fight him in the end but god… I had been trying to do a correctly pacifist run for so long that even Flowey was basically telling me why I failed every time I got a neutral ending and when it did happen, when Asriel appeared I just trates crying ni do some sort of a weird victory dance? My mom passed by to tell something to my brother and saw me doing that looked at me like “whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?”
It was just so funny.
Then when Asriel started telling me to let him win I started crying again and I couldn’t stop. I hugged Asriel, he told that he had to go, I cried even more, I woke up with my friends (still crying), I decided to tell Burberpants that the barrier was broken and that made think of Grillby so I goes to Snowdin and then I thought that it would be fun to go where I started the game and walk all the way to the barrier just to see if there was any change and then I founded Asriel, we started talking, I cried again, I kept on crying for a while then I had to go.
Now I normally greet people by “Howdy!” so yeah, it’s the Dreamurr’s fault, and by that I mean most importantly Flowey.

Yeah. Especially the lore drop when you talk to asriel. How chara climbed the mountain for "not a very happy reason" and then implies suicidal urges on frisks part. Since he asked frisk why they climbed the mountain. So its safe to assume that chara climbed the mountain to commit die. If you check the info for the faded ribbon chara who's the narrarator says "If you look cuter. Monsters won't hit you as hard." Implying that chara was abused on the surface.

I just realized at 14:30, the characters with relations are lined up left to right. Undyne loves Alphys, Papyrus is Sans brother, and Toriel used to love Asgore.
The music just makes this scene so amazing
I just finished the pacifist run for the first time myself.
I felt so emotional about this game. I felt like I never want to play this save file again.
This was a wonderful experience to see someone else get emotional about this game as well.

Ive rewatched this video like 12 times and i rly wanna see more of ur undertale playthough 😭
I’ve never played a game that does a mental attack and makes you play sloppier because you’re having a hard time holding your tears in. This game transcended its boundaries and touches your heart to deliver a lasting crushing blow. Especially with that last line “by the way, take care of mom and dad for me, ok?” I broke after that and a wave of emotions and tears came pouring out like a never ending stream that turned into a raging river by the end.

That music is SO on point
If you return to the very begining of the game before leave the underground you will find Asriel one more time with the flowers, and he will tell you a little a bit more of the first Fallen that has the name of your character (in the real Lore is Chara the real name) and you will dicover some things that in the genocide have a little bit mor sense.
Also you will find the amalgamates with their families
Please note that you have to do this without saving and reloading (you need to have enough time to do the finale and walk all the way back to the start of the game in one session). If you let him turn into Flowey via him appearing when loading, of course he would no longer be there as Asriel.

This game is a Damn Masterpiece. It has some of the most powerful and emotional moments in gaming history, and the most uplifting and heartwarming ending I've ever seen.
The pacifist route just hits hard like a truck man I really became emotional when I first did the pacifist route that killing monsters hurts now.
Even when I know what's gonna happen it still emotional then ever

Truly a genius masterstroke of ludonarrative resonance. This pluck the heartstrings so warmly it melts the ice encasing my soul a little. This entire segment onwards with all the subtle foreshadowing finally paying off

Something weird to note, she started at max health during the phase 2 segment, which isn't supposed to happen. Normally, you start the section with 1 health.
I have seen other people not have 1 hp there, so I don't think you're supposed to have 1 hp.

Anyone else notice how all of the other Lost Souls contradict what they were saying before? Or most of them, anwyay?
Toriel and Asgore don't, but then they don't say the same sort of things. Toriel says about not letting anyone leave, and that it's for your own good. Asgore is asking for forgiveness, and that this is his duty.
Then we get to Undyne, who says that humans are her enemy and that she must kill you. When you free her, she says "Some humans are Ok, I guess!"
Alphys says that you probably hate her and that all she does is hurt people... and then when freed she says "My friends like me! And I like you too!"
Sans and Papyrus... Papyrus talks about capturing a human. Then when freed he says that he could never capture you, because you're his friend!
Sans, on the other hand...
"just give up. i did."

"you'll never see 'em again"
And then when you free him, he doesn't go back on any of that.
He just says that he's rooting for you. Nothing about not feeling the way he was talking any more, just that he's rooting for you.

Was there a part where she didn't read the dialogue? It seemed like she was. I mean, how else could you get so invested in the game? Maybe she is a quick reader lol, I know I can skim and absorb text like that pretty fast (not saying it's a skill or anything like that, just a weird attribute haha...I'm gonna chalk it up to my ADHD demanding I find a way to speed-read lol)

Just cause she was silent at the end doesn't mean she wasn't reading she let her emotions show instead of reading it and honestly gotta be my favorite reaction to a youtuber who's ever played this game it reminded of my first time playing it myself even though I knew what happened I couldn't stop myself from crying I could read out loud the dialogue anymore it was just tears

True pacifist!
The neutral ending is more simple, it's just the human getting out of the underground
'Pacifist neutral' ending is actually a prerequisite to this one, don't kill anyone (including Flowey) and at the end of that run, Flowey will give a hint as to how to proceed. And the last stages of the setup for this ending aren't even possible before getting Neutral at least once.
