Oh ? That's how you can tell that the Undertale Yellow are true diehard Undertale fans and this whole fangame is an enormous love letter to Undertale and Toby Fox

Frisk and chara were lucky that they had determination and us on their side because if not then flowey could made them suffer in the same way as how he did with clover

You know something someone mentioned in a review of Undertale Yellow? They said they liked how the Human Soul traits appear to be more of a stat slider for what you are best suited for rather than just being the only thing you have since humans can have multiple traits in real life.
Like if someone was both brave and kind.
(I'm saying it is like choosing a starting class in a video game. Frisk/Chara by default are more determined than the other souls but that can change depending on their mindset. I don't think Clover became as determined as Frisk but he managed to surpass Flowey which says something.)
Which explains how Clover became more determined through the Vengeance Run (I think this fits better than Genocide for Clover).
Clover is alot different from Frisk on that term, Frisk does it just for fun, Clover does it to avange the murdered children, both Asgore for ordering it and murdering them, and the rest of the underground by simply not stopping it or triying to stop them
I like how someone classified Clover's 3 routes through the underground: The Judge (neutral), The Extremist (genocide) and The Sacrifice (Pacifist).

The only good route for Clover is the most ruthless one , where he survives and goes home.

And now I have a headcanon that Clover was the one who stripped Flowey of his save/load powers in the Omega Flowey fight.. after all, they did it in Genocide/Vengeance..
Still gonna feel bad for Toriel when she sees what her 7th child did to save them all in the end.. that's gonna hurt. Might be nice to have Clover re-unite with everyone for when they watch the Pacifist Route.. just a thought.. after all.. pretty sure the reaction room is beyond your typical timelines :P

well... as shown in Flowey's extra dialogue in the neutral routes, whenever he interacts with Toriel for some time she ALWAYS discovers that he is Asriel, which is why he doesn't interact with her during Undertale

Now that i thibk about it, Clover living with toriel by their own will could be a sign of Clover not having great relationships with his parents, or mabye he had a mother he loved but died somehow and a bad father, the search for the other humans could be a way for Clover to flee from that environment, which makes his sacrifice in the pacifist even more sad, knowing that he finally got a family (Ceroba, Starlo, Martlet, etc) only to him die on purpose

Dialogue from other parts of the game suggest they didn't have a great living situation before coming to the Underground. Considering what it indicates, it makes sense they would latch on to the first motherly figure who actually treats them well.
I love how flowey is like "i got your soul, now spin this roullete" instead of "i got your soul, one step closer to becoming GOD."
