I have a setup video of the Pixel 6 Pro where I demonstrate the finger print working while registering my finger
Check out the short where I show using the fingerprint reader and screen protector

I'd rather have flat glass and simple hard protectors all day long, the curved edges just introduce so much hassle. Thanks for the review, it is what it is.

      True

I completely agree. However, I love the new pixel 6 pro. The two big things that drive me nuts and that I would change if I had the power would be the curved glass, it should be flat and the fingerprint sensor, why change a good thing, the back fingerprint sensor was great, always worked, didn't take long, perfect location. Had Google called me and let me beta test this device, I would have told them to change this long ago.

I have a screen protector and once I put the phone into my wallet case the little pockets of the wallets squashed against the display and I had like little scratches on the place where they touched the screen. I've got one of these phones with a glass protector from Aokuma, and it's awful. Makes the screen very unresponsive, very hard to tap on buttons near the edge of the screen. Also it has a circular patch over the fingerprint scanner (which I don't actually use at present) that's very visible while watching videos etc. Hoping this Tauri one is s lot better!

    • @GadgetBeard
