I also know 2 people who died from Esophageal Cancer , just days a part .
I am Worried about Esophageal Cancer including Barrett's Disease , because it's an SILENT disease where
people going through heck , with the pain , etcc.
I was having an "EGD Test " every 6 months just to get tracked of my Esophagus . I wished Doctors took patients
seriously and help them, because they truthy need THE HELP.

Excellent interview! I’m in the midst of a gerd flare after several months of doing well with betaine HCl. Fell off track a bit with taking it and diet splurging.
I’m on day 2 of a gut reset diet by eliminating dairy, coffee, added sugars, and gluten. So basically fruit, veggies, and meat. Added a PPI just for 7 days. My stomach is a hundred times better already. Goal is to wean back off the PPI after 7 days.

Great interviewer. And thanks to all involved in making this video. My symptoms are chronic cough (for a couple of years), a lump in the back of my throat (it feels like a lump), and constant clearing of the throat. It seems I will have to bite the bullet and have a camera put through my sinuses.

Thank God for this interview with this doctor. 20 years ago I had massive coughing which led to what looked like asthma attacks. Deep hard nonstop coughing for hours. I first went to an ENT who gave me every medicine in the cabinet and nothing worked. After three years I left this doctor and went to an allergy doctor. I went to the allergy doctor for another three years taking every medicine in their cabinet, multiple allergy testings, tons of different allergy meds and shots. Wound up worse and worse. Put on on an inhaler along with the medicines and shots. And finally got so bad within the three years of seeing this allergist that I had to run into the office for breathing treatments. Because of what looked like asthma attacks. Did this for three years.
Long story short, I changed my diet to be ultra clean, organic and nutrient dense. also strict to no wheat no gluten no dairy no sugar. Nothing processed. Began using supplements and praying to become well enough to get out of bed and be productive.
It worked!!! I have stuck by this diet and lifestyle strictly for 20 years
Now, I inexplicably find myself with the same postnasal drip which causes the same massive uncontrollable coughing to the point where I can’t catch my breath.
There’s nothing I can do to improve my diet. After studying this problem best as I can not being a medical professional, I am quite certain that the massive, unrelenting stress has caused the silent acid reflux. I had never had an acid reflux problem. Certainly there’s nothing I can change in my diet. I refused to take the medication’s they tried to force on me. I have been looking and looking and looking for the cause to find the solution.
In the process I first began using baking soda and water when the acid would start up. But then I came to understand that my problem is actually no acid due to stress. So I am trying to rest and sleep. In this process I have discovered that the reason I can’t go to sleep and the reason I can’t wake up and the reason that I’m sweating all the time and that I can’t remember anything is because I have burnt out my adrenals.
In the meantime I carry with me at all times baking soda and water… Which I’m really not using now since I realize I have low acid. So I also carry apple cider vinegar in water with stevia.
And although I don’t like pharmaceutical drugs I am currently taking Xanax to try to help me go to sleep and get on a better schedule. Lack of sleep now due to adrenal burnout seems to be a big part of my issue with low/no stomach acid. The sad thing is I don’t have an open minded doctor/partner in my healing process.
Oh….And the reason I figured out it was adrenal fatigue is because I wound up in the hospital on IV of potassium and calcium… hypokalemia and hypocalcemia. What? With my diet?? It made no sense. I went as deep as I could go with Google and Facebook and TH-cam and finally was able to piece together my symptoms from 20 years ago and now. At Least now I know what it was 20 years ago as well. Silent acid reflux but there was no stomach acid issue back then. . But no doctor here in FLORIDA-duh wants to collaborate or hear this (or anything). from a patient.

Yep, most doctors won't veer outside the deadly clutches of INSURANCE COMPANIES, and PHARMACEUTICAL money. The best chance we have, my friend, is to seek out one of the rare doctor/specialist near our location who actually care to jump through the hoops to actually work with patients to improve their condition, OR research research research online and try things on our own. I'm a few months in to this process, after 6 years of wringing the necks of my local doctors who just care to prescribe PPIs and do endoscopies with no meaningful followup.

I think a virus could have increased my sensitivity, but I am on a new dietary path. To those who fear the dietary change...FEAR NOT ! Better health, longer life awaits. I stopped taking, more like I was taking 1 tablet for 2 days thinking I can reduce the dose, unfortunately mucus in my throat is back. I am jumping back on to digestive enzymes + Vit D routine, let's see if it works for me again. It probably will. What I learned from watching all these hour long seminars is that, doctors try to end the symptoms and that's the best they can do. Note that I am somewhat disciplined and I have changed my diet and lifestyle a bit.

Many of the healthiest cultures around the world regularly eat meat and fish. How many extremely positive studies with fish are there, so many. As long as the fish is low in heavy metals and not farm-raised..Grass fed beed and lamb are a powerhouse of nutrients. Chicken and pork are the most unhealthy probably out of all. Dr Zalvan's recommendation of Mediterranean diet is not proven either, just as it is not proven that apple cider vinegar helps... So we're all unique and different as patients - those recommendations are just the start. I believe it is better to put it simply to avoid processed foods. Limit sugars and gluten and follow the basics of not eating before sleep and elevating the head-side of your bed.

Baking soda is very high in sodium and can hike your blood pressure dangerously. Be careful consuming it. Gargling is safe.

the throat issue is still there. I tried salt water gargle, seems to help abit but consistency is most likely important. Maybe try cutting out mucous forming foods again, heres one of the fellows I learned from a few years ago..his name is professor Spira , also used to follow Dr. Sebi. th-cam.com/video/Fdyg8a73wvc/w-d-xo.html

Too bad, he really doesn't know what he is talking about. I'd like to know what percentage of his patients have been cured. I suffered of it for decades, followed his advice and nothing. I stopped/reduced my carb intake especially wheat products and fructose and I cured myself without anything else. I'm disgusted by the total BS
