I am an american, and I approve of the metric system. And your research. Also, "nutritional yeast" is probably the closest american equivalent to vegemite

Earlier version of something I wrote about this contained the sarcastic comment about the crash of the Mars orbiter lander, which was caused by an imperial metric stuff up. Probably the most expensive mistake in that category that has ever been made, you would've thought that would have provoked some action. Where to go? Australia, obviously, or possibly New Zealand, I considered that as an option when I left the UK, but decided it wasn't quite warm enough for me.
