E. Tole, Werner E, Elwood Babbitt, Tich Naht Hanh, David Korash, Osho, Amrit Desai, Mehri Baba, we could go on. But ALL started by, influenced by the 1st (1890s) Vivekananda (thru his guru Ramakrishna) to travel here from the East. (some say the Chinese made it to Cali & Peru by boat w a y B4 Columbus).
In 1973, a 90-minute documentary entitled Sunseed was filmed with interviews of ten New Age leaders including Yogi Bhajan, Pir Vilayat Khan, and Swami Satchidananda, Sufi Sam, Baba Ram Dass (Dr. Richard Alpert), Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, Sri Brim Dass, Lama Anagarika Govinda, Swami Muktananda, and Maharaji Virsa Singh. The film was directed by Fredrick Cohn and began showing on a daily basis at the Whitney Museum of American Art in Nov. 1973.
Ignored some of the early greats who sacrificed and came to the west: Vivekananda, Yogananda, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami, Maharishi. It also ignores the later greats who radiated their enlightenment in the west: Osho, Aurobindo, .... Perhaps they are all very Hindu as Sanatana Dharma is ten thousand years old Hindu philosophy, practice and way of life and not palatable ? Just surprising no trailer mentions them. Don’t change our history.

Glad to see that this came together so nicely. We are all different because of this "moment in time."

We were naive, and much shite hit the fan, but it was worth it ,if you stuck it out.
Why isn’t it available in DVD format? I can’t livestream.
