Great bit of info mate. One thing about the spring I have seen people use a stretched spring from a ballpoint pen, maybe you want to try that out it could be your next little hak

@Omas Bimboladen due to spinal damage i need a heavier brush to mitigate some of the shakes i suffer from so the al plus is not really suitable for me.

Have you tried the new infinity Giraldez? It seems that it already comes with a new trigger that improves the previous infinity
No not tryed that one may be one day
I just purchased a new evolution cr+ and it works perfectly. For some reason the trigger arch rests against the needle mechanism and there is no delay in needle movement. Once I touched a trigger, the needle moves. It's the same body as the infinity so I'm not sure why mine is okay and you said that the Infinity has a delay.
It's a great brush. I also use Creo 771.
That's good news with the evolution 👍the creos ps771 is a great brush two 👍
Are you doing detail work like a specular highlight or micro dot textures on a skull etc? or are you using it for larger spray areas/hobby minis?
Best test is to do a 30/70 white detail paint mix (or your preferred one) and then on a flat non porous surface (aluminum plate, plastic etc) try and do a bunch of the smallest dots you can do and see if they spider on you and how consistently you can make them small.
@@scottyboy6269 I'm doing mostly 9x12 detailed portraits. I also use a Creos 771, a couple Badgers, and Iwatas.

@Ken Cleveland lucky, I was just using Evolution without trigger fix (0.2mm setup) and doing lighting on a shoe, was fighting the inconsistent trigger on that one, will be changing that to match my other one now.

I purchased my H&S AB's several years ago, so prices were pre Brexit etc. I also have a NOS Chameleon at a great price too.
I think that the Evolution CRP is a great airbrush, I've got one, set up as a 0.4, I still think it's trigger action is smoother than my Infinity (although the trigger on my Chameleon is smooth too). Changing the Infinity trigger to an Evolution trigger helps with smoothness too. Also the mods you've described help performance as well. The aluminium Evolution offers good value for money too💜😊👍✌️
I've not noticed a lot of difference with the V2.O upgrade. I didn't duplicate, I added a couple of sizes for versatility, they came as V2.0, it's a good continuous improvement but not hugely different from the V1.0 stuff🤔🤔💜

@@piotrsiekierko2211 Does it solve the trigger/paint delay/deployment issue? I've read various marketing blurb, which sounded great, but isn't all that informative. Also the Giraldez isn't as versatile as a standard Infinity or Evolution in terms of paint cup sizes etc etc.

I would never buy CR since there is AL around which weighs literally close to nothing which is its best feature. Go for aliminium if H&S at all. Evolutions however do lack air.
