patience, games take time, espiecally... espiecally ones that "sound too good to be true" because if their too good, then there going to take more time.. let them go their own pace, theyll give you "unfiltered gameplay" in time
Funcom. They make interesting games and craft good worlds that are reflective of the lore. And they make buggy systems that are rarely fixed. So I really dk.
As far as we've seen. This is exactly the kind of game I been waiting for. If they deliver, it will likely be my main game. Looking forward to testing it out SO much! Only other game that had me this interested before launch was Hogwarts Legacy and it did deliver!
From what I read somewhere, the more round looking worms from the new movies are deep desert, whereas the iconic pointy mouthed one is the regular desert type so both types should be in it
I remember when this game was just a tech demo of sorts that one clip of the laser cutter of the rock being melted and cut anyone remember that? The two may not be related but still. My only issue is with this game being an MMO. It makes sense in the grand scheme of things, I’m just not the biggest of them; still I may check this out if I’m able as this looks really interesting. Just saw Dune Part Two in the theater yesterday and it was excellent, I enjoyed the whole adventure.

this game was announced in 2022 with a trailer not that tech demo lol, thats just the first thing you saw. also idk why you dont like the MMO part, its kinda perfect for the world of dune with all the turning gears.
Whatchu mean thats literally one of the main mechanics of the game. Every week a coriolis storm wipes a portion of the map that contains good loot and full PVP.
Idk if youre actually going to get a round planet but youre getting an extremely large map, with one portion being like 550 km^2 which was confirmed by the Creative Director.

I play Conan exiles and after 6 years it is still so buggy!! I really hope they do a better job with this one.

Theyre aware, thats why theyre going slowly with this one to make sure they perfect it.

I’m pretty sure the “deep desert” is referring to the south
possibly, we might see the polar ice caps in the far future
IGN Stated that it will come out later this year with early access! Fingers crossed!
