Hi Ken, want to say thanks for showing us your great den and collection! But I really want to say thanks for the great efforts you make bringing us so many excellent review and demonstrations. I’ve just come back to wet shaving with a DE, after trying it in my teens, then switching to disposables and cartridge razors for convenience - or should I say for laziness , to be truthful. Now I’m 62 and decided that the shaving experience has to be better! And your videos have been a real help in finding information out about this great hobby! So in between getting my skin to become used to a DE razor again, I’ve spent lots of time watching some great stuff from some very good people on TH-cam, including yourself. Keep up the good work, my friend, and stay safe and well!
I certainly did! But my first shaving memory goes back to when I was perhaps two years old, and my Dad used to shave with his safety razor - I used to kick up a fuss until he picked me up and held me in one arm so I could watch him in the mirror while he had to shave with his other hand! I’ll bet he used to try and get shaved while I slept a lot of the time! Then when he was finished, I always demanded the brush, full of lather, so I could paint the sides of my pram with it, which my Mother would then have to clean up - looking back, I must have made Dad’s shaves a chore for both of them! Thinking about it now, I suppose I was destined to turn back to DE shaving! Happy lathering, my friend, from a fellow wet shaver who lives around 25 miles from Newcastle. (Although I don’t support Newcastle United! 😝
